And you're so quick to take Sony at their word, just as so many other people are and have been.
I've stopped taking them at their word a long time ago. I love the PS3 as well, but that doesn't mean I believe everything Sony has said.
Does that mean I'm still hopeful X-game chat comes? I wouldn't use it, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't welcome an additional feature. I don't know if it will actually ever come, but the bottom lin...
Good stuff in the interview, but you're right...that looks like a mug shot. Either that or Gabe partied a bit too hard the night before! LMAO!
And if your internet connection happens to go down for whatever reason, or it's slow, or on a peak period, or whatever freak issue can (and in many cases DO) pop up on even the best ISP connections while you're in the middle of a game? Don't think that could be an issue, right?
And don't give me that shit about "oh, it's the PIRATES fault for this being needed!" If you have followed ANY of this, you would know of how utterly ridiculous that sound...
And with that comment, you just illustrated the problem with 3/4 of N4G's user base!
Apparently, you missed the entire point of why this DRM tactic is bad news. Either that or you're trolling (hard to think that there are just so many trolls on this site ready to troll over ANYTHING).
And I believe you being a troll because...why else would you say something that misses the entire point so blatantly?
@ElementX: This guy created Minecraft, which is, for some odd reason I cannot explain, one of the biggest gaming phenomenons right now. It&...
I thought XBL has been hacked since the 360 launch.
Wow, the author was a sort of a smart ass in response to this.
But yeah, very cool to be able to create a set to go with our PPV names and concepts.
It's been this way with World of Warcraft for a while. Blizzard comes out with new, challenging content, people bitch about the difficulty, Blizz nerfs more than they need to, and bam, you get the outcry of people who thought that they content was dumbed down.
However, having said that, there are also people that are too stubborn or feel like their too entitled on the other side. They don't think ANYTHING should be changed even when it's obvious something's go...
What the hell, man? Portal 2 was one of the better games this year, if not game of the year. Perhaps you should go play it (or play it again) and see why it's such a good game: great cast of characters and story, excellent game play and puzzle design, and superb but fair challenge. It's a hell of a lot of fun.
Only...people on the floor of E3 have said that the system is effin powerful, and they've mentioned the system runs in 1080p (the highest avaliable resolution).
Please, before trolling like you know something you don't, do some fucking research so you can at least PRETEND that you have any idea what you are talking about. Good lord!
I dunno. I can see where Beware Oblivion is coming from. When the shoe's on the other foot, it's bad. But if it's your team scoring the point, then it's all well and good.
I could see it being a bad thing if Sony just went up to SP and said "hey, we're buying you out, and we don't care how you feel about it. We know how to use the law to our advantage every single time." That's a bad way to do business deals and a good way to paint yourse...
PLEASE tell me you're being sarcastic!
"What happened to the good ol days when final bosses took like 20 tries and some times the help of game gene before you beat them."
Wait...you really want THOSE kinds of boss fights back?
Bosses are supposed to present more of a challenge in that you have to stay awake to beat them, and you have to pay attention to what is going on at any one time to know what to do. They're supposed to be a test of your skill level. If you die, it's suppose...
Umm, for one, the WiiU hasn't even come out yet, so it's not really that fair to judge that yet.
The Wii is dwindling because of the notion that no killer app has been on it. It had a good year last year with Epic Yarn and the overwhelmingly underrated Other M, but there's no killer app this year to get behind. That is being coupled with the anticipation of a new system in the works (WiiU) that they might be more focused on right now.
The 3DS is i...
I was shocked to see this woman's name in the credits when I beat the first ME as the female Shep. I wanted to play her when I saw it. Thing is, when you hear how Hale speaks in her normal voice, you'd never think that it was her providing the voice of a female character unless you knew beforehand.
Hale has a tremendous track record (I didn't know she did Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego), she seems like an awesome person, and is a pleasing woman on the eyes, as ...
1. Can we stop this practice of responding outside of the thread tree their reply was directed to. It shows that you're acting cowardly: they won't get a notification saying that someone has replied, meaning...you can get out of them being able to respond. Dodgy indeed, and I bet it's against the rules, as well.
2. How many more times do we have to have trolls come in and say the same thing we've replied to countless times. No wonder the cowardness is here: no...
You forgot about Mass Effect 3! I'm pretty certain that's going to be released this year.
Anyone who bought TF2 in some form before it went F2P is automatically a "Premium user".
You're basing a prejudice around a group concerning something that anyone could be ready, willing, and able to, however. You're going to have idiots no matter what you do. So why in the hell would you measure if someone would want to hack your server based on if they invested money into the game or not?
Here's the thing: say I got the game F2P (I bought the game as part of the Orange Box a year ago to play Portal, so I'm fine on that, but work with me). I play...
