That just happened!

That's my problem with the passes and the excuses with them. It's not that they are losing money over used games. The market has been around for YEARS without complaint. The problem is that people began bitching about this one company, and the publishers saw that as the perfect opportunity to get a bit more money for their pockets. You notice that it's only the ones that have a rep for doing some greed-charged decisions (EA and Sony...love the PS3 and their games, but the last yea...

If you don't pick up your game within the 48 hrs., you only lose your place in the line, but not your money. In other words, that's the window that you have to pick up your game and have it guaranteed to be there.

Microsoft's version also caused a delay, and SE putting FF13 on the 360 is highly accused, and rightfully so, of being the reason why PS3 gamers had to wait even longer than they already did to get their hands on the game!

Turnabout's fair play.

But so what? Look at what the guy said, then look at how the game turned out in the finished product when put together side by side. Are you really going to tell me that just because a version MIGHT'VE cau...

"Whenever multiplatform projects are in development, they are built to the strengths and weaknesses of all consoles."

Umm...WHAT?

Parts of FF13 were cut from BOTH VERSIONS because some of the once PS3 exclusive's parts couldn't fit on the 360 version.

GTA4 had to fit on one disc on BOTH VERSIONS because MS demanded it be so.

Two out of many examples of why that statement holds no water.

"SOPA and PIPA bills were withdrawn... gone... no more."

The only good thing about the GOP debates last week was that Ron Paul warned us to "watch out for the next one".

If you think for a second that the people that wanted SOPA/PIPA are going to just give up that easily, you're sadly mistaken.

WHAT?

1. Not the right title, and the quote on here doesn't even appear as a quote in the article. The person who submitted this article put his own opinions into the description. And the words he used are extremely misleading, anyway, since last I checked, most of the gaming content makers on YouTube, including TotalBiscuit and Jessie Cox, were firmly against the two bills.

2. About the 70k job loss claim, that was a figure the MPAA, someone who not only...

"lmao they need a new console just becuase of the disc format? the same disc format which fits almost every game but a select few, prob less than 20 out of the hundreds of games....and yeah it may not be "as powerful" as the ps3 but for being a year older it holds up very well, esp considering most multi plats look and perform better on 360."

1. Devs are maxing out the hardware on the 360 right now.
2. The disc format DOESN'T fit "almost e...

You didn't read the article, did you?

It's talking about the issue from a developer POV! Right now, the console is starting to show its age in its components and physical medium. Games right now are exceeding what the 360 can offer, and the space needed on discs are increasing at a faster rate than you might think. MS is trying as hard as they can to not just admit that Sony was smart about building Blu-Ray into the PS3 and using BD discs for the games. Devs were comp...

The main issue I have with this is that you have done what so many others have done on this site when bringing this up, and that is that you never bring up any time when a 360 fanboy on this site does stuff like that. It's like people don't believe 360 fanboys exists or, if they do, don't become as immature as the PS3 fanboys do. I can't understand this as to why people believe 360 fanboys are just good little angels on this site. There are so many I can name on this site that...

They are not talking about indie games, though. The indie companies aren't exactly the ones complaining about piracy. It's usually the ones that overprice and then wonder why people don't buy their products that end up complaining about piracy because it's an easy scapegoat that people will blindly agree on.

The article has a point: the industry needs to handle themselves better with this issue. They can't just blame piracy every times sales aren't wha...

This is the attitude I'm talking about. Don't buy it: that's exactly what I'm doing. Thing is, why is it that we just LET game companies continue to do this? Their excuse screams of someone that just doesn't want to bother but can't actually admit that. People are mad that they are treating PS3 gamers like that, but won't care enough to do anything about it.

How you didn't get that is beyond me!

They fixed this, but they have said something about the Twitter thing (which is still in the article despite what you have said), so there is still THAT question lingering.

It still seems to me that they are being stupid about this decision and are not being truthful. I had a chance to interview them last year around this time, but I didn't have the headset to be able to conduct the interview (which fucking annoyed me because I wanted to do that interview SO BAD) about th...

Do you think it's a bit suspicious, though, that they have said that they have a "permanent" (in what way) with BOTH MS and Nintendo? How does THAT work in such a way in which neither MS nor Nintendo mind that the other is able to have it on the system, when they didn't say this earlier about why it wouldn't be on the PS3?

Sounds like to me they are still trying to deny PS3 gamers the right to play this game and are trying to make up whatever asinine exc...

He didn't say anything that was offensive. Not sure what your issue was there.

However, saying that, the PSN hack wasn't the same as whatever FAT is describing (what IS he actually describing, anyway? Never heard of anything LIKE that happen). It was something that we had to deal with, that the people responsible for hacking it needed to be held accountable, etc.

However, it was Sony's fault for being very negligent about getting adequate info to ...

You have to see, though, that there's a sense that people support things just because a certain entity that they admire does, and will follow whatever that certain entity does and will change their thoughts according to what that entity does.

He isn't talking about if Anon made people do it or not. He's talking about how the people of N4G will do that epidemic I just described. People were supportive of SOPA because an entity they liked was also for it, without d...

It might not be a monetary win, but things like this could possibly have a second look given to them. We can't just let things slide or hope Sony wins just because it's Sony, just like we can't just hope MS wins something just because it's MS, or that the people filing the suit will win just because they are or who they are.

The suit may not win much money, but there's more of a moral victory as well as a chance that a ruling should be changed. As much, th...

I usually used the codes once I beat a game once. If it's a single player game, then sure. Go for it! The debs put it into the game for you to use in some way! It's different if it's a multiplayer or MMO game where your actions will have a negative effect on the people you are playing with that won't receive the same benefit as you have. But if it's like using the Dead Space codes that EA put into the game to get that trophy for completing hard mode, then it should be okay...

It DOES get the medium exposure to more people, and any publicity is good, right?

Look at one of the ways GTA got so popular. Outside of everything else that it has, the controversy got people to want to see what it was all about, and BAM! You got yourself a blockbuster game franchise. If done right and within context, it does work.

If your fav celebrity wants to get it on on some CoD, I'm pretty sure you're going to take a second look at that title. ...
