Sure they don't primarily game on these devices but they can get their gaming fix therefore cutting the need to get a 3DS or a Vita.
When these sales are cutting the sales of a Vita or a 3DS I think the sales point is important and I'm sure Sony knows this as well.
Or and here's a thought.
We could not argue over something as dumb as what console we like to enjoy and just enjoy the games and grow up.
See the way I look at it this would be all fine and dandy thinking that consumers want to "invest" their time and not "waste" it but outside of the 3DS, any considered button console doesn't perform close to mobile devices (excluding phones from this to be fair) which in numers the 3DS doesn't even come close.

The thing is about the RAM is how much of that ram will be used for the OS and keeping it running. The Wii-U uses 1GB and rumored Xbox uses 3GB. So if they use DDR5 then how much of that 4GB will be used for OS.

1. OS- The Operating System will be fine I'm sure.
2. Core Fans - To be honest it's not the core fans you need in order to succeed it is the causal, media consumption people.
3. BC- No BC isn't a must, it may be nice but far away from a must you buy a PS4 to play PS4 games not PS3 games yet I understand where people come from. Also, gaikai isn't BC, I hate seeing that if I have to pay for it, it's a solution not actual BC.

Mobile is controlled by games and tablets. From a pure number standpoint. I know gamers hate hearing that but its true. Mobiles biggest competition are$200 tablets and phones.
Before I get the rage it doesn't mean they are better games which is subjective to begin with its just from a consumer standpoint would you get a $200 Nexus 7 or a $169/$250 machine with expensive games. Just speaking from the average consumer mindset so be gentle.
I like Angry Birds its a good time waster and when it first game out a little addicting actually. It may have lost some of that luster yet wouldn't write it off as boring by any means.
Ubisoft are jerks because they decided to expand their games reach to more people? Sure you are gonna be upset but for them it is likely the right choice. A third party exclusive in 2013 is far too rare to see and why not open the potential customers to 150 Million as opposed to 5 million.
