I personally don't care about the battle between these two as I will be getting both.
I am leaning towards the One first because I am a little more excited for their games especially Ryse but that decision isn't final yet.
They make some damn good games so EA has my support. I don't care about the politics behind crap, if I think it will be a good game I sill support it.
I don't have time to hate a company...
A non stop barrage of repetitive articles about either what Xbox can do or how it's already over.
I expect 90 minutes of games and Xbox Live.
Announce a $399 price point.
5 exclusive games at launch.
Make Live even better.
Launch end of October.
So what is the difference between Microsoft and Sony on used games then? Nothing correct?
If that honestly concerns you I hope you don't use a smartphone or a computer or send emails or anything technology related.
The real sad human condition is double standards and hypocrisy.
1. I hold no allegiance to any company and honestly I was trying to hold a logical conversation but obviously that's something we can't have because you resort to names and false accusations.
2. Microsoft gave the power to the publishers... I guarantee you Sony will do the exact same. So what is your response then? What console do you buy? Or do you shut up and do the logical thing and buy both like I have stated from the beginning. My loyalty is to games and technolo...
The vocal minority.
Honestly if someone could logically explain to me without the mass hysteria why the policies that Xbox One has are wrong and outright anti consumer then I could see.
I really hope Sony doesn't have the same used game system where they give publishers the choice because that would awkward for many people.
Still getting one. I am getting both. The problems that people are concerned with don't affect me so I have no reason to not get the console.
Also I have a feeling that MSFT will have some killer exclusives such as Titanfall so I need this console.
I just hate host advantage.
Microsoft isn't even profiting off of this as we originally thought. Honestly all they did was give the power to the publishers so those are the companies we should look towards. The One is just the device to foster the software companies.
Getting mad at MSFT is strange because they are neither forcing this or making money from it.
Likely between Nintendo an Microsoft it depends on the prices and Microsoft has Live so I give them the nod.
Sony is going to talk about the multimedia capabilities of the PS4. They never got to it, we know that there will be so I expect 20-30 minutes on what else it can do besides gaming.
It might be hard to imagine but gamers aren't the only ones they are catering to.
Here's my question. If E3 rolls Around and Microsoft has a great conference and shows compelling exclusive games that look phenomenal as "hardcore gamers" do you still buy the console?
Crazy prediction: Ubisoft has the best conference two years in a row.
It reminds me of what Adobe did with their new move to subscription base. The 24 hour check in now implemented so that they can verify that you actually own a license and have it up to date.
I have no issues with this but then yet again I am fortunate to live with high internet that rarely has issues.
Still gonna get a XboxOne and a PS4 though.
I agree. I think that a preorder before all the information is a little idiotic.
Truth of the matter is they both have information that needs to be explained and price points. E3 is right around the corner so you can wait to order after that.
You wouldn't buy a product without all the information because you are bound to be disappointed without all the detail.
I actually expect the PS4 and Xbox One to be the same with the PS4 having a higher sku with a bigger hard drive with the One being standard with 500 GB.
But what if I genuinely want to play the exclusives on the One?
I don't care about the polices of either or really see a big deal for me personally.
