Guess it'll take another game with abysmal sales for capcom to understand we just want a return to how the series was before RE:4. They got close with the Revelations series. It's just too bad neither of those games had the budget or marketing of RE:7.
Not just that but people inherently don't like to be told what to do or how to think. That's a slippery slope into a totalitarianism once that happens. The point of America is to live with each other DESPITE our differences. Not to force another individual to conform to the way that you think things should be done. I thought what PewDiePie said was very benign and said in jest with his friends. For people to be getting their panties all in a wad is ridiculous.
The one thing I agree with this article is, yes, toxicity is a problem. The toxicity though is these idiot liberals thinking they have the moral high ground to berate someone who mistakenly uses a "racial slur". I say it in quotes because it's not racial at all in the context he used it. It was not directed at a black person or used in any racial context whatsoever.
On a side note, the good thing about this whole outrage culture is that it's creating a wh...
Name a franchise that they adopted that didn't turn to shit...GO!
Is it just the trendy thing to do nowadays to slight Final Fantasy 7? How can Cloud not be #1? He's the most iconic character in the entire franchise.
Thank god. In my opinion it was by far the worst Final Fantasy ever. Just a really hollow shell and what a Final Fantasy game usually is.
Need to tone down the physiques like NBA 2K did this year. Randy Orton is looking way too jacked.
So I watched this trailer first before seeing any actual gameplay and I was expecting something more along the lines of Until Dawn, it's not. It's a top down survival/stategy game. It may be decent but this trailer is misleading and definitely isn't representative of the game.
Well look at the bright side, at least he's not Don Mattrick.
Seriously? They can't be this incompetent. This is E3 2K13 all over again.
We're 4 years into this console cycle and Sony has dominated. If Microsoft had a secret weapon, they'd have used it by now.
Leaked Capcom conversation:
"Hey, I got an idea. Let's change absolutely everything about Resident Evil but still call it Resident Evil..."
"Yea, man. That sounds like it will sell like hot cakes."
They needed to sell 3 million copies to break even. They've sold 3.5 million to this point which right now puts it in a battle with Resident Evil 3 for being the worst selling numbered Resident Evil of all time, not to mention the least profitable. If that's not a failure, I don't know what is.
2009 Resident Evil 5 8.08
2012 Resident Evil 6 7.83
2005 Resident Evil 4 6.67
1998 Resident Evil 2 5.72
1996 Resident Evil 5...
Keep the "queer" political correctness bullshit out of gaming! I swear liberals try to ruin every damn thing.
I might be a little biased here but...this list is complete shit without the Giygas boss battle music at least in the top 5.
Nomura is a genius but I think equal praise needs to go to guys like Hironobu Sakaguchi and Yoshinori Katase. It was really those 3 that were mostly responsible for Final Fantasy 7. Luckily 2 of the 3 will be working on the remake so hopefully it will at least be true to the original.
I played it all the way through and I agree with him. Usually when I play a great game the experience will stay with me for a while. This is a very forgettable game and I could care less about playing Resident Evil 8 if it's another game of this ilk.
I just wish this game was some spinoff side game and Resident Evil Revelations 1-2 had the bigger budgets and marketing pushes. Those were infinitely better games in my opinion and at least felt like Resident Evil.
Did EA not learn from Microsoft? You DO NOT dictate to gamers or your business goes to complete sh*t. It's been a long time coming but EA's time on the chopping block is finally here. I say good riddance. All they do is ruin games/gaming companies these days.
