You can never trust company propaganda. We really dont know how many 360/PS3 sold there are in Europe or the world. All that we have to go by in the end of the day is when the Sony and M$ report their financials. The closes thing to being accurate is NPD but theats only in N. America!
But still not good enough to pursuade me to buy a PS3 and i'm pretty sure everybody else with the economy the way it is!

IMO the whole game was big leap compared to Gears 1. The campaign was definitely better than the first, all the extra features they put in like Horde mode, party system(even though its kind of broken right now), the new gameplays/weapon/characters/bi gger maps. Gears 2 didn't disappoint me like halo3 did. The only thing that's disappointing me is the problems with the matchmaking but that should be fix fairly soon.
PS3 wouldn't be able to handle GoW2! hehe jk
M$ really did a great job with the update.. The new interface is so damn sweet! I wasn't a fan of it first but now I wouldn't be able to go back to the dashboard! The netflix streaming and the 8 player party chat just awesome!

Spin it out all you want Sony fans! But the fact M$ is able to compete with the PS3 this gen and actually beating them when last gen the PS2 outsold the Xbox like 5:1. Sony is losing market share not only to nintedo but to the 360! Great job Sony! First you lose the portable music player market to apple now your going to lose the gaming industry to nintendo and even M$!
With the dismal NPD sales this past month Sony needs as much marketing as it can get! There's a freebie my M$.. As good as MS at marketing its games and console I dont think MS would be able to sell a $400 console! Look at how good the 360 sales are compared to the PS3 and it supposedly has a 33% failure rate! With that high of a rate of failure but its still selling compared to the PS3 it seems people would rather for cheap unrealible product than high priced reliable product!
and how many of those 100 million plus PS2 owners were returned customers because their console stopped reading DVDs or they wanted to upgrade to the slim ones? We dont know but it doesn't really matter. A console sold is a console sold..

I'm sure MGS4 made some impact in PS3 sales but dont think that big of an impact you make it out to be. Unless you can provide links that prove other wise your words are just like the word of PS3 fans proclaming how LBP is going to sell 2 million its firt week and how its going to move over a jillion PS3 consoles! LOL! I dont think LBP even sold a single ps3 consoles! Gotta love it though!

No console this gen is going to get close to the wii! Its unstoppable at this point. 2 years after it launched and its still selling like hot cakes when everybody proclaimed it was just a fad! Its no longer a fad! the consumers love the wii. The gaming industry is back to to the original king. I can now say Nintendo is going to be this gens console wars winner.
There's no way the PS3 has sold 9 million in Europe. It was just at 5 million this past May.. You really think with the financial crisis Sony was able to sell another 4 million in 6 months? It tooke them 1.5 years to get 5 million!

I was skeptical about this whole NXE thing because I was pretty satisfied with the dashboard but after downloading it and playing with it a little bit its so much better than the dashboard! The avatars are pretty gay though but everything else is a big improvement from the dashboard. Its a lot better looking and more organized. Updates like this makes me feel better about paying $50 a year for XBL! Great job M$!
If your able to spend $400-$500 on a PS3 then you can afford $50 increase a month on your electricity! However you aren't helping the enviorment either. So folding at home isnt really helping at all. Yes it will help with cancer but with all those PS3s left on then your just speeding up global warming!
