Online MP is a must for me.. It helps extend the games life so after beating the SP you can hop on the online MP and it will be a whole new experience.. You can keep playing the SP of Uncharted to try and get the treasures but you already know the story where the enemy is going to pop up from so its not as fun as the first one..
I dont doubt that this game is great STORY wise but many 360 owners perfer actually playing games rather than watching em.. I'll stick to movies for stories..
edit- No I have not played it but judging from the reviews and what everybody has been saying about it I can tell its a great game.. But its a game that I probably will every play because I dont play games for the story. I play games to PLAY..
It sold almost one million units? 774,600 according to the article.. Lets say it sold another 300,000 with the bundled units so a total of 1million for the game that was suppose to be the Halo of the PS3? Halo3 sold that much in 10 minutes!

Wow so the PS3 has only sold an additional 1.3 million over the 360 and their BIG GUNS(MGS4) came out? We all know that sales before the Holiday Season dont mean crap! The 360 sold 1.3 million in ONE WEEK just in the U.S. alone last holiday season. Sweet! So its twice as long as MGS4 if you go through it without the cut scene.. 3 times as long as Heavenly Sword, Lair, Motorstorm, Uncharted which were games that were 3-4 hours long! And all of this on one DVD? Did we really need blu ray Sony? Or were you just using that as an excuse to win the Next Gen DVD wars?
The IR thing is actually a pretty valid point. More than half of PS3 owners bought it mainly as a blue ray player and many probably have high end remotes like the author mentioned that only do IR.. I know my friend has this problem of not being able to control his ps3 with his IR universal remote. Why can't sony just release an IR usb port just like what the author said.
Uh you guys aren't counting the double accounts people make.. I know a couple of my friends who have 2+ PSN IDs that they use. So probably out of those 9.8 registered user only 5 million PS3s are actually online..
Of course his going to say that.. The playstation brand is a very strong brand but in my opinion this gen is the toughest competition it has ever faced... Here is why:
#1. They are competing with two cheaper GAMING consoles 360/Wii and will stay cheaper throughout the lifetime of the PS3
#2. PS3 don't have the biggest and best gaming library that goes to the 360..
#3. Currently Third Party developers are favoring the 360 over the PS3.. Yeah Sony d...
I certainly hope that PSN can match XBL so that M$ can either drop the price for gold or make it free.. Which I think will never happen because M$ will do something to justify that $50 year..
This is one more reason why people should buy multi plat games on the 360 instead of the PS3 if they have both consoles.. If this was the case on the 360, this would've been fixed a long time ago! EA is M$ biatch!
Its either going to be a delay on the PS3 side or a 10 GB install that takes an hour which will delay PS3 fans gameplay.. We all know that Ubisoft is a so called "lazy dev" labeled by many PS3 fans.. So they probably don't want to let you guys down!
