Dude the game was delayed a week! A WHOLE WEEK! MGS4 was delayed once and another month right before it was released.. Did that prevent it from selling 1 million plus in its first month? No! When the delay was announced PS3 fans didn't make it a big deal because it was only a week. But now because of the delay it changed the minds of 1.5 million...

I dont think a price cut in March 2009 would be a good move. As everybody knows in this site(except the PS3 fans)that consoles dont sell in the spring and summer they sell the most during the holiday shopping season. A better move by Sony to create momentum is dropping in September so that they will have momentum going into the 2009 shopping season.
I remember the PS2 had a price drop in Spring but the PS3 isnt selling as well the PS2 so a dropping the price in spring wouldn't...
Wait Wait! No way the 360 is superior to the PS3! Your telling me I bought a $600 console at launch on the promise that it will be superior to its competition.. I mean Sony themselves said that next gen won't start until the PS3 is released and ate that up! They also said that the cell is the most powerful processor out there and that's why everything will look better on my PS3 than the 360... If that's not true then i'm ready to leave this world behind!

I think you should care about the sales figure because of Sony's financial trouble. The PS3 was made and was expected to continue the dominance Sony had in the console market and if it doesn't continue you might not see the PS4. So all the Sony fans better start putting their money together and start advertising the PS3 and games since Sony doesn't have the money to do so.

Yes I dont think NXE will move consoles but a feature in NXE called NetFlix streaming will!! Man that is such a sweet feature! Yes there are missing content like being able to que your movies throught the 360 but that will be fixed soon. MS was able to sell me in getting NetFlix because of that now NetFlix will sell their customers in getting a 360 because of it as well!
Huxley wasn't promised 6 months after it was announced and delayed twice! LOL! Your not getting my point here.. i understand Home will take longer than NXE but why did Sony promise it to be there in 6 months and 2 delays later its finally going to have the public beta. It will end up being released 2 years after it was announced.

Kind of weird that its on the top. Morgan do you use your index fingers to type? On the 360 its on the bottom of the controller so I use my thumbs to type. Would seem kind of weird to use your index fingers to type. But if you use your thumbs it would be hassle because you would have to bring the controller down to get to your thumbs!
Probably because of all the copy catting Sony has been doing off XBL/360 with PSN/PS3 they didn't want to make it obvious that the 360 is their inspiration.

Well then if Home is being funded by advertisements then that's even more embarassing for Sony! Seriously if I was an advertiser and I signed up after Sony promised it will be released in 6 months then has been delayed now for 18 months I would pull my money out of there! Or stop paying until Sony does release the game. So if thats true then there is no reason why Home has been delayed for this long.

I agree that Home is going to take a lot of work but I think what the article is asking why did Sony after announcing said it will be out 6 months later? Then delayed till Spring 2008 and then to Fall 2008 then March 2009? Seriously 3 delays? I mean dont get me wrong I know Home is free but I guess that's what happens when its free..

Definitely agree with you about the chainsawing. At first I just hated the game because of the easy chainsaw kills but now i've adopted and changed my strategies. No more roadie shotguns anymore unless you know the guy doesn't have his lancer out. One thing that pisses me off about the game are those easy grenade kills when its planted on the wall. I mean you dont even have time to blink when you set one off your dead! Host advantage is still present as well. One thing I hated about the first...
