I agree to to a point, while they still seem to have a passion for quality story telling it's clear that the higher ups at take two told them to focus their resources on expanding GTA online as it's basically an endless source of income for them.
Playing 20-30 yr old games i've bought multiple times before, or games that aren't even available anywhere digitally unless I drop $60+ on a classic SNES and hunt down the original cartridge is barely what I consider piracy.
Don't worry, this time i'm sure microtransactions will be involved, it's a game changer! /s
Oh Nintendo.
Really? You prefer having to pay ONCE AGAIN, for 30 yr old games? Games you can't even keep that are easily accessible though a simple google search to the point where buying them would be more of a kindness than a necessity.
Ok then Nintendo, keep that attitude up, but don't get mad when people use homebrew on their switch and install emulators. If I had a choice to wait years for Nintendo to implement virtual console to play their most basic games, vs installing an emulator to play the whole library the decision is clear.
While microsoft is lacking in first party content, I respect their contributions to gaming and benefiting gamers as a whole.
Basically this.
Youtube reccomends things based on your viewing history regardless of spoiler or not, I suggest you go into settings and erase the search history, also get a video blocker add on.
I agree, they should let some of their new or younger talent work on titles, or at least mentor them to be able to do so, it worked with Nintendo with Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey. Eventually the guy's gonna have to retire.
Looking forward to this being a PS5 launch title.
Considering how 4 came out, i'm not sure if this is a good thing or not.
It's the architecture of the PS3, that makes it difficult to do so.
You didn't read past the title, if anything is whining for attention it's you, insulting the man without reading the article. You just saw a headline, and them threw out a response to get upvotes, you didn't even have the gull to at least directly address the writer.
Ya know, Marvel has handed their licenses to EA before in the past, and it didn't work out so they moved onto other devs.
Probably honestly. If it's good then it's good regardless of drama.
I think a new BioShock could work with the right team and budget allowed. Bioshock 2 was actually pretty great and he wasn't involved in it, sorta like how the new God of War is a new great direction for the series even though the original creator wasn't working on it.
Shenmue 2 was on the original xbox, so I can see why it makes sense in that aspect I guess, and also from a business perspective they want to reach everyone.
I would be alright with this if the games weren't a full $60, maybe $40, but that extra $20 -$30 fee seems ridiculous when you got Sony making Shadow of the Colossus for $30. Even Xbox 360 games go for as low as $10 and we can still play them on the current console.
