Two things can be similar but still be different, anyone saying Assassin's Creed games are just more of the same, is willingly being ignorant, they've very similar, as are all sequels and continuous series, but for the most part the games have a different feel given the time period they're set in.
People can say what they will but for me this was the most exciting announcement, Dying Light is one of the best games of the generation, and the fact that your choices will have an impact on the game, along with an even more improved gameplay systems, sounds fantastic, not to mention the legendary Chris Avellone working with the team to make sure the writing is top notch.
Gamers won, our wallets lost.
EA maybe, but Sony's conference as far as games go, was pretty decent, not as good as Microsoft's but good.
I agree, choice is one of the best things about gaming.
I can respect that, the best thing about gaming is being able to pick and choose what you play, good on you for exercising your right as a consumer. Personally, i'm interested since it reminds me of Borderlands, i'm curious how perks and such will come into play with the game being multiplayer and such.
People always overreact when it comes to the unknown honestly.
Seems like they're going to be some kind of unplayable boss character. But I wouldn't put it past the company to make them DLC.
For Sakurai, it's probably the last game, but as the franchise, it's probably going to go on, just being worked on primarily by Namco Bandai, Nintendo, and people not in Sakurai's company.
Gotta love that hot super mech soldier on super mech soldier action.
Not a good analogy.
Why so hostile? They articles seem no more worst than any other small game journalism site?
Welcome to 2001 Nintendo!
But Tomb Raider the series, before the reboot came out before Uncharted, so technically Uncharted was inspired by classic Tomb Raider.
I'm a big Nintendo fan, and even I will admit that I can see the reason why people were disappointed with what was shown. While i myself as a smash fan has no issue with a lot of smash being shown, but I think it would've made more sense to at least TEASE a new animal crossing or something more to appease fans.
Or even better, show off more projects, then announce that after the Smash Invitational tournament they'll go into detail about everything as they did w...
I think it's about the show as a whole. Microsoft's show was the most consistent and also revealed a lot of new content, and they ended by showing the value of their services.
I don't think it was the worst E3 ever, but out of the 3 it's certainly the most polarizing, either you like it cause you're a Smash fan, or you dislike it because you may've expect other things other than Smash.
Overall, I still think Microsoft won in the end out of the big 3. Sony's had pacing issues, but the first party titles were there, Nintendo's I enjoyed because I am a fan of Smash but i can see where people could be bothered by it.
Nintendo's E3 was hype as hell imo. I don't know if they won Smash, but they're tied with Microsoft for the top spot for me.
I think what everyone is also forgetting is that Nintendo also has directs, and they also announce games over a 3 day period at the Nintendo treehouse.
You may have a point, but when the game is multiplatform the first thing people run to is comparing frames per second and graphics, as if it really matters that heavily on console.
