Fanboy in general, whether from Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, or anything else are just terrible for gaming discussion. They hear what they want to hear and shut out everyone else, or shut down any other opinions.

Can everyone chill? 86 isn't a bad score, none of us have played it so to say it deserves anything is really just hype and speculation coming from an on reviewer standpoint. It's honestly embarrassing that people are throwing out accusations of the reviewer click baiting, or even worrying about the metacritic score. The game will make money regardless, and reviewers seem to like it, so I don't get why there's so much concern for the score when no one but Sony and the devs will...

The whole point is that they give their opinion and you decide for yourself either or not it sounds good. You don't need a number to form your own opinion on things.
@Digital Raptor, it seems like you said a whole bunch of nothing. Yes the single shot camera is cool, but you didn't actually list many new features. In truth while God of War is likely to be a fantastic experience pushing it as something we've never seen before based on what we've seen so far, seems a bit ridiculous. RPG elements? Over the shoulder camera? AI companion? Compelling story? Old character returning? Length? The characterization (we know nothing about yet) It's al...
The first half of your rant is wrong. EA Acquired Bioware in 2007, same year the first mass effect came out so technically Mass Effect didn't even exist till EA acquired them. Regardless of how you feel, Mass Effect probably wouldn't have existed without EA.
@Sawoosevens I'd argue that games still have good stories and gameplay, you just have to look a bit further. Try out more indie games or niche games as opposed to AAA games. Sometimes I think the standards are also the issue. Back in the 90's and 00's any game that got above a 5 on meta or any review site was seen as pretty good, now anything less than an 8 may be seen as less than stellar or garbage.
Personally i'm loving the hell out of the game, it gives me Breath of the Wild vibes. Once the intro is done you're free to explore the world as you want, map opens up without towers but by natural exploration and landmarks like in the real world. Sure you're given missions but i'm having fun organically just meeting buddies to help and to join with me against the cult.
Honestly, I can't speak for you or your money situation, but I would skip out on the collector's edition of this. Simply because you don't know if the season pass is worth it. Now if you're looking for one game to wait to buy after a price drop I say Yakuza 6, assuming you haven't played the rest, then I say play those first, especially with Kawimi 2 coming in august.
Where as Ni No Kuni 2 has barely anything to do with the first so you can dive right in...
I think FC3 and 5 seem to be the best ones so far, 2, 4, and Primal are kinda Iffy, good, but 2 is a bit too hardcore for some, 4 was a lot like 3, and Primal even with the cool setting ultimately was more of the same.
This looks like one of those really neat party games that will find a niche audience but won't sell like crazy. Hopefully it comes to the Switch and is priced decently, to garner more interest and more risk for it.
@SCW1982 Oh I didn't know you played the game already...Another open world game, good or bad isn't going to ruin the industry, there are people out there who like things you may be tired of, for you another open world game may be tiring but for someone else, it may right up their alley.

Just don't go on 4chan in general, also maybe skip Twitch chat.
Considering the embargo ends at midnight tonight on the west side, i can see this being real.
Good list, but i don't know if i'd call them the best sequels.

Keep us waiting then, Nintendo and Sony will be keeping us occupied before and after it's release.

Ah yes, a 8 year wait instead of a 10 year wait!
That's what i love to hear.

Delayed before it was even announced?
It looks pretty fantastic, but as always we'll have to wait and see the full before anything else.
@Affrogamer I think he's ranking them based on what he's seen so far.
