The game looked fantastic.

Honestly, I think the conference was pretty good, Microsoft did what they were supposed to do, show us the games, while I agree with people who say their exclusive content is lacking I don't think it matters to the people who already have the console and are into the Xbox Ecosystem.

At this point it feels like Microsoft is in the endgame with the Xbox brand, they know the next generation is coming and they're preparing for the next battle vs trying to compete with S...

@masterfox, I think the reason devs are so afraid to make new characters similar to the ones you listed are simply because people would just compare them to the established characters as you just have done, or they'll overlook the characters as they don't have the brand recognition Master Chief, Lara Croft, or a New Dante...which people complained about when he did arrive, even though the game wasn't bad at all. Not to mention AAA gaming is expensive, and while some devs may want ...

Money and giving their devs time to work on their projects.

Imo it means that indie devs who do make quality products will end up just being lumped up with people who make broken games, and unlike AAA companies, they don't have the budget to market their games to rise above all of the trash games, that come along side the quality indies.

I guess ultimately indie devs have consoles as a safer place to launch their games as they have more quality control than Steam does.

Do you really think a multi million (if not billion) dollar company is going to shut down just because people have taken issues with a couple of their games. For all their bad business practices, the casual audience still buys into the nickel and diming.

I don't support them personally, but it's clear that that people still buy their games.

I think you may be blaming her for something some big time executive probably made a move on. I'm hoping EA can learn it's lesson, as they truly do have some good IP's and when they really let their devs breath, they can make some decent games.

I agree, this game looks absolutely fantastic, something for fans of the new and old, the best thing about it is being able to play it on the go, I think playing RPG's like Persona 4 Golden and various other JRPG's have spoiled me to the point where it's hard to sit down and really want to continue though an 100 hour JRPG.

They want to go multiplatform but they're still dedicated to releasing quality titles on the switch that are built from the ground up on that platform, so you don't end up getting half baked ports, in the end it's probably best for everyone.

I think it will be successful is Sony markets the game enough. But honestly, it doesn't seem like the game is going to be GOTY material but still a solid PS4 exclusive.

This game was kind of a waste imo. It's a game based of a campy 90's SNES game, that only really got attention because it's was so ridiculous it's funny.

Cutest thumbnail ever.

Oh please, this is just to get people to buy out their current stock, so they can make more money before they release the newer versions, as opposed to having people wait in general.

Right? Nintendo would sell those things left and right, sometimes i don't get their thought process.

You should always play it safe and wait for reviews anyway.

Look at everyone in the comments (including myself) assuming we actually know anything about stock and shareholder mentality outside of our own gamer perspective.

If I had to take a guess it's probably due to the lack of Pokemon games on the 3DS, the handheld is a money maker, so them even hinting at ending the 3DS is probably sending shareholders away, seeing as they deal with the bottom line, the facts and figures, not hype or speculation.

I'm sure once Smash 5 is shown, and whatever else Nintendo is offering at E3 they'll jump back up, not to mention they have the N64 mini coming down the pipeline so that'll als...

Smash 5, Bravely Default, Mario Tennis Aces, Pokemon Lets Go, and whatever may be announced at E3 says otherwise.
