Honestly, I like it when there is a special edition, maybe a $10 or $20 more but it has it's perks like a steel book or DLC. I'm getting tired of over paying for these statues that will eventually collect dust.
I think it maybe depends on your platforms as well as other things like location, maybe the time you play, and then some. I guess that's the point of the beta, to stress test.
Knowing Activision they'll end up re-releasing the game as a complete, enhanced, or ultimate edition which includes some major expansion and quest that can't be played with the base game alone.
