True, but people take reviews as the final say in whether a game is something they'd enjoy or not.
Good to be a gamer these days honestly, I know some people say games were better generations ago, but honestly, after i've been playing classic games, I think we're really in the best time to be a gamer and the future can only get brighter.
*$500
Hitler was in the trailer for the game, so it's not that serious, but the context is annoying.
I don't think there's actually been evidence of paid reviews before. Unless you mean people who get paid to review games, then that's just their jobs, but I've never seen evidence of people being paid to give good scores outside of gamers just spreading the rumor.
I think like Sonic Mania, Sonic Forces should've focused on doing one type of Sonic right instead of trying to spread itself thin and do a lot of different types of Sonic styles not that great. Keep in mind it's not out so i'm just going to assume it's bad based on what i've been seeing.
But at the moment, Sonic Mania seems to be the winner, even with the disappointing lack of not enough new levels.
I like Sonic, but now he's mostly become an icon of disappointing games. But loyal fans.
Maybe they should do something similar to what Nintendo does, and have a small pre recorded event that discusses each game in length.
I agree, it's funny because when it launched people were all saying it was DOA and over priced, now every other day I see people contemplating buying one and the people who bought it love it.
One of the best shooters, I've played in a while, got all the way to highest rank on PC then dropped it, always rumors about the community dying but you can still find a lot of games. Disappointed EA sent it out to die though, I hope Respawn entertainment can find a better publisher in the future.
I'd like to see them work with Bethesda, they've been pretty good lately with their franchises, DOOM, Wolfenstien, Evil Within, all content, no B.S.
The only morons are EA, they got too greedy and cannibalized one of their own franchises.
As a company, when it comes to the Playstation brand, Sony is smart, they know that by providing their first and second party devs with the tools and the budget necessary to make good games they'll keep providing, and it also ensures loyalty and exclusivity on their platform which means more of their console sold and more money.
While this doesn't benefit gamers who game on other platforms, there's nothing stopping people who want to play those exclusives from ...
Considering Capcom and Sony are both Japanese companies it's possible that the deal was easier to make than it would've been with Microsoft as they wouldn't have to reach very far to get things working, but that's just an assumption.
As for PC, a lot of games that come out on PC get exclusive betas technically, they're released in Steam early access or something similar, then upon final release they're put on consoles.
@AspiringProGenji i'd argue that PUBG is only XBOX Exclusive in Early Access only because Xbox allows early access titles, i'm sure that upon final release they will be eyeing the PS4.
I think it's clear what's going on here guys. Sony probably paid Capcom for exclusivity for the beta so that it would entice players to get it on the PS4 over any other platform. You play it on the PS4 and it's a good experience, you're going to feel more tempted to get it on that platform vs PC or Xbox.
Personally, while the decision is good for Sony and Capcom business wise, I think it's lame for actual gamers as a whole, we don't get to see how we...
@Bleucrunch That is indeed an option, but a lot of times, when people ruin your game-play the damage is done. But imagine this: You want to do a stealth play-though and wish to take out a bunch of enemies with another player, then someone throws a grenade and alerts everyone, you kick them but the damage is done and now you must inconvenience yourself to go out of your way to play the way you didn't want to, or restart the whole area.
If you make it so only your friends...
I agree with you but the masses will probably down vote you Sony's E3 conference was downright disappointing but of course people will defend it. Even with little games shown there still could've been a better conference.
That's neat and all, but we're talking about the Xbox, so lets try to stay on topic.
I'd say yes and no. On one hand matchmaking would be great because you can play with random people and always potentially have a co op partner...but on the other hand that could open the door for people to troll in your game. Also just playing with friends you're playing with people you trust or at least trust enough to add. Not to mention there's the Far Cry Communities on PS4 and even on Steam Forums you can probably look for a co op buddy which is an extra step, but once again ...
While, I don't like the DRM practices, it's good to see on the creative front Ubisoft has delivered a quality Assassin's Creed game and has found a meaningful way to reinvent/reboot the series. And it's also great that fans are getting what they've been waiting for.
