Opinions people, opinions, if he thinks it's the best game of the year, then he's completely valid for thinking so, for me it's Divinity Original Sin 2, but i love AC Origins.
You'd be surprised what one person who's determined and focused can accomplished over a period of time. He been working at it for going on 6 years now, assuming he's been putting some money towards it little by little, over that period of time, and working steadily, he may not need the super budget AAA games get all at once if it's over time.
I'd call this more of a demo than a full blown remake. all you can do is drive around a bit of the hud and that's about it.
Looks pretty damn good actually, reminds me more of Saints Rows 1-3 before it got a bit over the top. Graphically and physics wise it looks really smooth, i don't know about the story but as a giant sandbox world it looks like it can be pretty fun.
Also going based off the guy's Facebook page, it looks like he's been working on the game since 2012. That's a whole lot of work to put into this, hope it turns out great.

I pray he doesn't do the dumb thing most fans do and release the demo for the games before it's finished and get hit with a C&D. Just finish the game, then release it, surprise fans, and allow people to upload it all over the internet so Nintendo can't shut it all down.
4K seems great for those who have it, but it's not really leaps and bounds ahead of what we already have.
As Michellelynn0976 said, just buy a memory card, they're not that pricey, yes it's an additional cost, but people pay monthly or yearly for online services. Having to pay for something once and never having to worry about it again is worth it when you think about it that way.
And yes the switch will have paid online, but the way Nintendo seems to be going it will be late 2018 before that happens.
Considering people monthly for things like PSN+ or XBOX Live, i'm sure paying $10-$30 once just to go digital isn't going to break the bank.
I'm expecting a revision of the Switch in 2019.

I've been out of work for a while, but now i've finally got a job that pays me decent for a single fellow. Hyped to have this be the first big game i buy on PS4.
You mean the cell processor that was hard for devs to work with so they ended up making inferior ports, and only Sony's exclusive devs really took advantage of it? Not to mention for whatever reason not allowing backwards compatibility for PS3 game on the PS4 because of that processor being so different from the PS4's.
imo the the cell processor was a gimmick that ended up back firing.
There's nothing quite like it cause it's an actual Xbox exclusive.
