Why are there so many narrow minded people? It doesn't matter on whether or not you like or dislike Project Natal, but it does matter on how well you can comprehend the goal of the article.
The goal of the article was to break down what we know about Project Natal and its capabilities that were actually shown at Microsoft's E3 Conference. This does not include the two pre-made videos, especially the 'Milo' interactivity. In addition to the analysis by the author, he makes note...
I've yet to see a game that matches the realism of the lightning bolts in Killzone 2. For anyone who is playing/will play the campaign, stop and check out the storm in the sky in the beginning level(s). It's amaz-azing.
I support the God of War franchise even without playing any title extensively or at all, but even I have to say that God of War III needs some sit down time for polish.
Of course this is assuming that what was shown at E3 was the most up-to-date build of the game (which I doubt) but even then stuff needed polishing, especially the AI modeling. The humans looks atrocious in my opinion.
By the way, it isn't anyone's business on what console(s) I own or what company(i...
Guys, guys, guys. You're going to have to understand that Microsoft's Xbox 360 is doing the best in the United States/North America than anywhere else.
A large contributing factor for that success lays directly in Microsoft's marketing division and just overall appearance of success, actual or not.
Combine that with unreliable, uninformed and biased mainstream media we will continue to get the most flame-bait-tastic articles ever written from North American based si...
Yeah, but it was scripted... and I don't think I need to have much proof to convince people with half a brain on their shoulders.
The whole point of the two videos shown at Microsoft's E3 conference was to show what they were envisioning for down the road. The only time it was actually showcased was during the ball hitting/block knocking-down sequence, which was largely Playstation Eye/Eye Toy quality.
A lot of the internet is impressed with Microsoft's E3 conference because Microsoft has been doing something since the launch of the Xbox 360 that neither Sony or Nintendo has quite nailed down: appearance.
Something as insignificant as the E3 stage is a testament to how Microsoft has been largely successful just by having it appear that they are the most successful/best.
I'm not telling you your opinion is wrong. What I will tell you, however, is that you need to ...
I'm American but the guys got a point lodged somewhere in here... I'm sure of it.
I think it was supposed to be Agent or Final Fantasy XIV: Online.
Sadly, this is most likely the truth.
But we will continue to hope anyway.
You guys do remember that the PS3 technically has the ability to take in-game screenshots that save directly to the HDD? Except the problem is, Sony didn't integrate the feature onto the PS3 itself but left it up to developers to implement in each game.
I don't think there's a single game that supports this yet.
Sorry to say that I don't.
I'm sorry but the Motion Plus thing is just to make more money on the people who bought into the Wii for the simple fact that it has motion sensing.
Even with the Motion Plus, it doesn't even come close the 'PS-mote' and its 1:1 tracking capability.
Before I begin I'd like to say that I'm not downplaying the 'Project Natal' or its potential in gaming. The only problem I see is that it's essentially an improved Playstation Eye Toy/Eye. Of course, there isn't anything inherently wrong with that but look at the current support for the Playstation Eye. I'd also like to point out that it can already do some of the things that were advertised for 'Project Natal'. An example of that would be the Eye Pet game in production.

I honestly don't think the install base would have taken that big of a hit by just raising the price. The thing has been selling like hotcakes up to now.
I really hope you're joking.
I wouldn't go that far.
As of now I consider it to be an upgraded PS Eye. A lot of the stuff can be done easily on the PS Eye with actual support from Sony, but we know that's not the case at the moment. Microsoft will definitely support this to a greater extent.

I'm pretty sure that it's a different IP altogether.
Didn't Microsoft/Epic already hint at that it wasn't going to be GeoW 3? It seems a little too soon since GeoW 2 arrived, especially with the decently sized DLC coming.
I also remember reading about a growing suspicion that it would be multiplatform/exclusive for Playstation 3 and not just Xbox 360. Combine that with the 'megaton secret' that employees stated they were surprised was kept secret for so long from...
I thought Halo: ODST was simply an add-on (DLC) campaign for Halo 3 and that you could buy both at retail and through the Marketplace (exception made on size restriction, obviously).
To above comments, when anyone says that Halo has been milked for all it's worth... they're telling the truth. I'm not talking about sequels to games here. I'm talking about Halo 'GAMER' Mountain Dew.
See everyone? He concisely stated his opinion, didn't attack either side of the issue, brought up legitimate concerns about Sony's 'PS-mote' (just like the author of the article did), and most importantly wasn't being a troll!
Anyway, as I said those are legitimate concerns but for both 'Project Natal' and Sony's 'PS-mote' the games are more than likely going to be built around the hardware rather than patching older software to work with them.
For example, patching...
