What people don't realize is that online gaming is not a premium service. Never has been. But because Microsoft was the first to really integrate it into console gaming, they were able to get away with it. You can spend your money any way you like and I respect that point of view, but if you don't acknowledge that it's a rip-off to pay more to unlock features on a product you already paid for in full, you're being naive.

I'd like to see a comparison video on just how much both of the titles were improved. Looks good on the GoW II side of things but it's a hand cam recording with bad sound quality to boot.
I would only argue that the story/Campaign of the Halo series has gotten progressively worse since Combat Evolved while the multiplayer (online) experience has only gotten better.
The article is discussing video game series that have been around for quite some time, dating back to at least the Playstation.
I don't think that the MGS series was intended from the beginning to ever be COMPLETELY REALISTIC compared to our own history.
Anyway, I don't know why the RE series (namely, RE 5) wasn't on that list. It was such an effortless, uninspired copy of RE 4.

Forza's still looks distinctly like a very well done video game vehicle. Above NFS and DiRT for sure, but it is still similar in terms of overall look.
Polyphony just does a better job overall in terms of realism.

Not only did you assume that I think Resistance 2 is a fantastic video game*, you also assumed that I was using it to compare against Halo 3: ODST. I applaud you on the latter considering that the entire second paragraph was discussing why I view GameSpot as unprofessional. It has nothing to do with Halo 3: ODST vs. Resistance 2. That was all done in your own head.

Regardless of the review, I don't consider GS to be professional enough to accurately place judgement on games, especially after a horrible preview of Resistance 2 gameplay in which the author clearly showed inexperience in addition to not even having played Resistance: Fall of Man. I'm sure some at N4G know exactly which preview article I'm talking about.

As much as this is going to sound like a subtle attack on Natal, it really isn't that much more complex in comparison to the Playstation Eye.
Unless Microsoft believes (and advertises as a result) that there is going to be a tremendous demand for Natal, I don't understand why anyone is expecting this to be held at such a high price.
