Just remember folks, the correct opinion is the most popular one.
Steam stops by and says hello.
Ah, I was waiting for the 'entitlement' card to be dealt. I don't believe I'm entitled to anything. I understand that nothing is ever free, that things cost money to research, develop, market, etc;. TINSTAAFL, anyone? I understand it's more difficult to engage in intellecutal debates through the Internet, but you made some broad assumptions about my point of view.
Anyway, your argument about cell phone fees and the subsequent cost of service are valid. However, the fact that...
The fee issue will always be relevant. While the business model for Xbox Live is nothing new, the whole point of holding great features (separate from the actual Internet connection for online games) on the system and putting a price tag on it is ridiculous. Why should I have to pay extra to unlock things on my console's OS? Why should I have to pay extra to unlock online access to the games I already paid full price for?
The second question is my largest gripe with Xbox Live....
Grief reporting only works in theory. It only hurts an online gaming community, even if people are cursing, TK'ing, or just having fun. If someone doesn't like the aforementioned frequently occurring phenomena in gaming, then they don't deserve to be playing a game in the first place.
"10 reasons why Project Natal will be better than Playstation Eye"
Details.
It's been looking different ever since E3 but tell us what you see.
One player sends you an invite to play a game (for example, such as Halo 3 multiplayer). You get the message, hit OK, and it takes you back to your dashboard and you get up, change the disc/put in the disc to be able to play the game with your friend.
Essentially, it's a more formal/cohesive method of messaging your friend to tell him if he wants to play with your or not.
I've had the PS3 since launch and I know for a fact that anything downloading would be paused immediately when you launch a PS3/PS2/PS1 title. However, lately I've had things downloading and actually continue to download while playing a PS3 title, but sometimes it does not notify me that the download is complete. Other times it pauses like it used to. Was this part of some update we didn't know about?
Some of the author's problems don't match mine, but they are similar. For o...
Well I for one desire a Halo: Combat Evolved quality campaign in Halo 4. The formula for Halo multiplayer has already been nailed down, so the only things left to do is get improved visuals, better AI than in Halo 3, and the aforementioned complaint.
WELL I CAN BEEZ UR FWENDZ!!!

Full digital downloads for retail games won't be happening until a long time. Especially when the average internet connection speed is mediocre at best in NA.
When this does happen, or if it's pushed too early, then I'm going to switch over to the PC world.
"So far, you've heard plenty of complaints."
Actually I've heard nothing but praise for the new franchise(?) and how fun it is. The demo alone made me want to get the game one way or another, which is a rare sensation from demos this generation.
And why the hell are you (GDN) configuring 'Multiplayer' into your judging system? Since when does a game have to have multiplayer in order for it to be good game. 0.1/10.0 my rear end.
This looks like a fantastic game. From the gameplay to the visuals (it's already in full English?) it looks like an 'AA' quality game.
I thought this WAS coming to the 'West'. Is that still true?
For anyone with the N4G GiantEnemyCrab Theory, just to let you know that name isn't reserved. I've seen it from other forums unrelated to gaming or tech all the way to Counter-Strike.
Well, this makes the story more plausible. When the first info on 'Playstation Cloud' was available through Sony's copyright, everyone assumed it was some type of programming thing for realistic cloud details/atmospheric stuff.
It has been a while since the last FW update (COME ON JUST GIVE US CROSS GAME CHAT!) and TGS is in 3-4 months. Enough time to work all the bugs out.
I like the idea, even if it may be fake. Get to work Sony. You're not out of hot water yet...
Saying they want PSN Network cards is as annoying as someone saying they need to stop at the ATM machine.
I'll let some of you think about that for a minute... let it sink in.
We can only imagine.
I agree with the first post. Just trying to get hits by mentioning the 'revolutionary' Project Natal. It hasn't even been released or demoed with a fully functioning game that is 'revolutionary'. You can't criticize what you don't have.
The only thing that disappoints me is the swarm of tards that don't understand that this is an upgraded Playstation Eye, and will only be better if the software turns out to be better than what Sony can offer. Saying that, I'm not attempting t...
Methinks a lot of people would not pay anymore. Microsoft DOES do a good job at making people think that XBL turns your average connection speed turn into a dedicated server, lag-free and disconnection-less gaming experience.
