So Fallout 3's post-ending DLC didn't happen 3 years ago? The industry's been disgusting for 3 years by that logic then but I might actually agree with that.
It's really AWESOME that half the comments(even in this thread) and half the articles bashing this whole ME3 thing have no clue what they're talking about. Honestly this whole controversy has just shown me that gaming journalists aren't journalists since they don't know how to do research. Oh and people on the internet form opinions without knowing what they're talking too but that's not new.
It seems to me that both fanbases are just the Bioware fanbase and they finally got pushed over the edge with ME3's ending after DA2's unwanted change and over simplification.
I disagreed because I liked and was intrigued by what I saw from Prey 2 more than any aspect of Prey 1...
Yep it's definitely legit. The other blog post is "Durango dev kits suffering from RROD". This guy has such a good source...
Yep the millions who bought it all finished the game too right and they go on gaming forums? Like really I love the game and I didn't see how the ending would be as bad as people said but it has fundamental plot holes and made me feel nothing close to closure for the trilogy. Almost everyone I see complaining about the people who dislike the ending have never finished the game and are loving it(like I was) or are not invested in the franchise at all and just watched a youtube video of it....
Well the disappointment from the ending started on the official Bioware forums so it's the most hardcore fans that are complaining and the ones I'm guessing Bioware cares the most about. The ones who read the game tie-in novels and things like that so I can see why they'd complain for over two weeks. Especially since I looked on there after this thing started and people talked about finishing the first 2 games over 5 times each. And for other, less hardcore fans they probably didn...
Yeah it's not but it's still a bad ending and at least Bioware will learn to never again just rush an ending riddled with plot holes to an always planned trilogy.
They should of took out Angry Birds and put every game on IOS or Android based on the comments from this site on anything Apple related.
Yep if no one complained about the ending then Bioware's next game would have just as good of ending with plot holes and disconnect from the rest of the game(and series). Obviously no one should complain...
I would really love to hear a person that says the ending is "sophisticated" or "intelligent" explain the numerous plot holes.
I don't think the title of the article should have a maybe massive spoiler. I guess
****SPOILERS ANYWAY****
But yeah this ending makes the most sense to me since I learned about it a couple days ago but if it's real isn't this just going to add fuel to the fire for hating Bioware, EA and DLC since the actual ending will be probably be released as DLC then. Like it'll make people happy but just as many will be mad...
I really hope the Game of Thrones rpg is great and it's published by Atlus so it might be...
It seems to me that none of these articles take into account the things that people hate the ending for that's not just it's mood. They actually think people are whining when there's actually some legit reasons to dislike the ending that I'm sure most people know about on here by now. I guess the poll with 30000 votes make them think this by it wanting a brighter ending.
Of course people are overreacting with "demand" used in the fb group but I'm...
I don't care about them changing it and I liked the game overall but the ending was the worst part imo.
*********spoilers*********
I hated it for the reasons stated above and the plot holes. If you didn't see any of them than I'm actually glad for you. And I'm not joking I wish I liked the ending. Oh and the lack of closure to the always planned trilogy. They actually avoided closure by doing a deus ex machina ending and not explaining any of ...
Here's the actual statement a Bioware employee just posted on their forums regarding this.

EDIT - more detailed version

Yeah I doubt that's the actual ending but Shepard being alive is just another plot hole that you're supposed to be happy with for finishing the game in the best way. Endings that you unlock by doing the most things throughout the game are supposed to add to the story(like the Halo 3 legendary ending) not just confuse it more. I would have been more than happy with an ending like MGS4 that ties everything up, even if it was in a bleak way. I also don't care about them changing it I...
The whole ending was a plot hole.
***********Spoilers*********
Shepard's alive in the "good" version as he breaths in a pile of rubble. How is he breathing in space on a blown up citadel? He must be on Earth then but he would have died falling from the atmosphere so is the whole ending a dream and he was passed out by getting hit by the Reaper laser? Like honestly I'm starting to believe the rumors that the whole ending in the citadel is She...
I say yay in general except for the ending.
**********MAJOR ME3 ENDING SPOILERS BELOW**********
I'm sorry but I don't see how anyone can defend it when Bioware stated while making ME1 the games would be a trilogy. Yet the ending provides no closure to Shepards story, no closure to your decisions, no closure to the fate of characters and races you meet, the ending has a bunch of plot holes(characters I had on Earth at the beam are randomly on the Norma...
It's funny that Colin Moriarty from ign commended Sucker Punch for listening to fans and changing his look yet the same guy doesn't want ME3 changed at all.
