I agree with you but just so people know, no one follows you around. If you don't play coop you'll only interact with the coop character in story segments like every other Dead Space game. It's not like RE5 where a bot follows you around.
I agree that universal ammo sucks but Dead Space 2 had item drops from enemies too so I don't know why it's now a big deal. I also didn't see what you're talking about with relating it to Uncharted 2 either. Is it that he wakes up after crashing or that no other game can do snowy environments now? Both are stretches. Dead Space 2 already had qtes too if that's what you mean. Also the environment looks like it fits with the rest of the Dead Space games imo but that's al...
All he's talking about is violence where there's no rhyme or reason for it. If there's context he doesn't care.(he uses Deus Ex: Human Revolution as an example) Judging from most of these comments I'm guessing people never even read any of the interview.
I'm okay with ultra-violence but I do agree with him in that context should make it meaningful.(The Last of Us e3 demo for example)
And this is one of the reasons that games are thought to be for kids still. I don't see any articles about phone wars, tv show wars, movie wars, tablet wars, etc. Sure there may be articles comparing products but they are not presented in a childish way using 'war'.
Yep it's confirmed. I listened to that podcast before it was edited. One of the loadouts you can do is just have a bunch of perks and only have a knife so you need to knife someone to get a gun. It sounds different at least.
I'm legitimately curious. Why do you think it's over the line? To me it fits in with all the other outlandish things in the game.
This game sounds like it's going to be really unique and awesome. The fact that the dev team is worried about weapon and item prices becoming inflated by the EVE community just sounds so cool, even if it becomes a problem. No two games have influenced each other so directly.
What does audio have to do with the article?
That's the bad thing about long console generations since no one wants to make a new ip this late in a consoles life. So they make sequel after sequel after sequel since last gens were like that(but shorter). There are exceptions though and those are the games I'm actually excited about(Watch Dog, Last of Us, Beyond, South Park).
I hope they can keep the same tone and mood in this next installment. For the first game they tried to match the trailer in the cutscenes yet my character comically yelled things in-game.
I hope there's car customization and they just haven't shown it yet because that was one of my favorite things from the past Most Wanteds. I don't get why Criterion has never had major customization for cars in their games.
Here's a gameplay walkthrough

I can see who it's audience is and it's definitely not me.
So you're one of the people who don't care what happens behind closed doors as long as you don't hear about it? I guarantee the majority of developers plan out their DLC before finishing their games. Everyone hates Bioware because they revealed that truth...
To clarify I'm not saying the games I listed suck. I'm just saying I don't need to watch gameplay to know what I'll get from those games if I buy them.
That was disappointing. Halo looked like Halo, Splinter Cell Black List looked like Splinter Cell Conviction, COD looked like COD and the Gears teaser looked like Gears. Tomb Raider was the best thing I saw from that conference. And the look at South Park was cool. They showed nothing new or exciting for xbox only though and their presentation had no big news or exciting announcements. The one game that looked interesting was the Portal-esque Matter but then it said 'made for Kinect' ...
I'm definitely worried about Dead Space 3. I am only slightly hopeful because I never actually seen anything from the game yet. It might not be as bad as it sounds. Unfortunately It sounds like it's going the way of the Alien films. The first ones a great horror/triller, the second one is great but is more action orientated with horror elements. And the third one just sucks. It's like RE because it disregarding its roots and what made the franchise a success in the first place.
I agree but if the person who wrote this cared about exclusives they would of shoehorned Fable the Journey and Forza onto the list.
The music at the beginning reminds me of American Horror Story or Kill Bill.
I'm saying that it's a good example of meaningfully using extreme violence since Naughty Dog is making the game very violent just to make the dire post apocalyptic and kill or be killed world more dramatic and emotional.
