I'm done with shooters that have short, action packed, campaigns. They just feel like the same thing over and over again to me even when they're different franchises. Call of Duty 4 started with making shooter campaigns a roller coaster ride and a lot of other shooters followed suit. COD sequels, Killzone 3, Crysis 2, Crysis 3, Halo 4, Battlefield 3, etc. I just find that so boring now and yes the Killzone: Shadow Fall demo reminded me of those shooters. I'm sure most people don...
But the website has such quality writing that they actually mention Call of Duty, and most franchises, after the list in "complainer's corner"
If you really want to not have a cap get optik tv/internet. That's what I have and since the tv aspect is just streaming there's no cap. They can't track tv internet usage and internet usage separately so they don't reinforce a cap.
Even if this was true, I highly doubt it is, better graphics and presentation won't make the game's lackluster gameplay, story and AI better.
The funny thing is they announced a horde like mode, Bug Hunt. But it's DLC and one of the four packs of the season pass...
I hope that is only a prototype. The analog sticks, light on the top and weird (speaker?) holes in the middle of the controller make it look very strange and like a cheap third party controller. It reminds me the PSone with its curves though and I do like that aspect.
This and the game's reviews bum me out so much. The only trailer I watched for this game was the first demo that I guess is fake. I wanted to go into this game blind but I do not even want to play it now. Maybe I'll buy it for nostalgia if it's ever on steam for like $10. I hope that the next Alien vs. Predator game, if one is being made, is good.
@cherbhy
Was the Wii the only console you had this past generation or do you play PC games too?
I'm legitimately curious because I've never met anyone who just had a Wii and were into games enough to go on message boards and such.
I'm half way through the game (chapter 10) and I have no idea why reviewers keep on saying strategic dismemberment does not matter anymore. I've playing the game with a plasma cutter and line gun/ripper and haven't felt the need to change to the new weapons like a shotgun or machine gun.
Overall, the demo does not represent the game at all imo. Unless the end chapters are super action heavy this game has just as much horror as Dead Space 2 to me. You go through lo...
I'm assuming that the ps4 will have trophies and I hope that their trophy server updating system is more streamlined and fast.
I would like it to be true but I've never even heard of the site the rumor started on so I don't trust it. The site just sounds like someone paid a fortune for the domain name. They have a relatively small following (6000 twitter followers, 0-3 comments per article).
I'll just wait until the 20th to see if it's true or not before getting my hopes up.
They aren't milking Killzone and MIcrosoft isn't milking Halo or Gears, Microsoft is just relying on them in the exclusive front.
If you want milk look at COD.
It sounds like it's going to be like Skyrim in its openness. Of course it's going to have a better story and combat though.
This is the graphics card I have for my PC and I've been liking it so far. It's the first PC I've ever built though.
They would not have a way of implementing this, especially with sales changing the prices of games drastically every so often.
The closest thing would probably be letting you gift the games you bought for yourself to other players.
Good score. For people wondering, the Game Informer review is confirmed fake too.

I guess people actually bought the watch made for Mass Effect 3. It cost even more too.
I think part of approving news doesn't work. If a mod approves news as soon as it's pending it has below 50 degrees. The majority of users will never see the article because of the default above 50 degrees option. Imo this is pretty shady.
The whole crafting idea sounds like a gimmick for micro-transactions to me. They really are adopting a free to play model with regards to it. It's like paying for double xp, more currency, etc. in free to play games. But the games $60.
If I end up playing Dead Space 3 I'm definitely going to play it on the classic mode so I don't have to deal with these features. I hated the crafting system in the demo before the micro-transaction news got out too. It's so co...
It might be like the system Blizzard uses on PC. You download the first couple gbs and the game is playable while the rest downloads. I don't know exactly how this system works though.
