Honestly I think this is gonna be the next Borderlands in terms of success if this is true. I got Borderlands on day one in the morning and my friend couldn't find it anywhere later in the day and it seems the same is occurring for Dead Island.
Bethesda gave the 360 DLC for Fallout 3 and New Vegas first too. They even released Oblivion at a later date(but with improved graphics) so I am not surprised at all and don't see how anyone is.
I agree that it seems odd but a guy has like 25,000 achievements on xbox without cheating so it is plausible. I would never play games like Ben 10 just for trophies though and how the hell does he get all the trophies for games like guitar hero with expert on every instrument. Trophies to me just add challenges that I can try to do after I've beaten a game already but I guess for some it makes them play garbage games just to get a higher level that doesn't mean anything.
LOL every gaming company would obviously take time to put their best games on a next gen machine when they are already released on current gen and they're working on their next project. But if you're not being sarcastic then wow...
I'd like it if they actually made a numbered Halo where you could understand the story fairly well without having to buy and read all of the novels and other media. That's actually why I liked Reach the most out of the Halo games because it had a good story even if you did not read everything to do with the Halo universe.
I loved Resistance 1 for the campaign and online but the only aspect of 2 I liked was the coop that I played for hours. Honestly I think Halo Reach was better than Resistance 2 and was actually the best Halo game(I don't see why anyone likes Master Chief when he has like 2 lines per game) but resistance 3 looks great and might make my opinions change on the franchises.

None of the 3 major gaming companies can be in trouble when a console exclusive is releasesd on another platform just because the majority of the mass market doesn't pay attention to this. If they did the ps3 would have the most consoles sold with how many quality exclusives and multilplat games it has.
So the 360 was still at it's limelight a couple months ago when Mass Effect 2 came out. This article isn't inconsistent at all. I honestly don't care about having tons of 360 exclusives because I buy ps3 and 360 games so I wouldn't have the money to buy tons of exclusives on each system plus Multiplatform games. I also don't get how Alan Wake is mediocre since it's reviews are 80+ and the writer didn't even explain why it was.
I love how people just look at the score and say if it's good or bad. I actually use reviews to get a good idea of what a game I might be interested in is like and based on reviews for crackdown 2 it's fun but repetitive, like the first game which is bad to most reviewers but I haven't played the 1st game and it has some glitches. I'll maybe buy it when it's like $30 since I want to buy the ps3 infamous and controller combo.
I guess no one knows you can pick up a 8gb USB stick for like $30.
Does anybody know if they are going to fix the freezing issue for 60 gb launch ps3s because I have been waiting to play through both games again before buying gow3 and I would rather play the collection than the ps2 games. I hate that I paided $40 for something that doesn't work for me at all at the moment. If you didn't know about this issue one search and you'll find it easily.
At first the under $100 price tag for the bundle sounded good since I don't have a PS Eye but to get the full experience I have to buy that, a single controller(coop) and two second attachment things so it'll cost me like $170 roughly or maybe even more. I'll wait till they release the actual price as I'd rather buy this than a wii. I also want to see hardcore games specifically designed just for this(deadspace extraction HD?) not just the option of using it like Socom.
YA but the same two guys who were fired from IW left EA when they didn't like the direction medal of honor was going. Some other people who worked at EA left too and they made 2015(later IW) and made COD to compete with MOH so the same thing could happen again with the original IW employees leaving and forming their own independent studio again.
I find it dumb how people pay $10 to change their gamertag to have a clan tag at the beginning. What a waste of money.
I can actually run and gun with a sniper easily all I do is quickscope and noscope and I go atleast positive. I agree that campers should just automatically die because I don't see how it's even fun to camp.
My fish were my only casualty as I didn't know you had to feed them. You actually have to work to have everyone survive the last mission as I probed planets for like 3 hours so I could get all the upgrades. And to everyone saying the choices you make don't have any impact to the next game just look at the first game to the second. Every choice in the small missions had an impact whether it just being a message you received or a new mission happening like with Conrad. And just watch what will ...
I will most likely pick this up but not on day 1. It doesn't help that they made the demo the worst possible mode as most matches I played the marines or predators would go in a party(360) and cheat by camping together. I might pick it up for ps3 so that won't happen. Ya and more than once giant trains of death would happen where someone would get stealth killed than the guy who killed him would get stealth killed then the guy who killed that guy would get stealth killed and so on.
I must be an exception then because I could read everything just fine on my $200 20 inch sanyo I bought from wal-mart 4 years ago. I guess I do sit like 5 feet from it in my bedroom though.
I think Nintendo characters are milked more than anything else, even Call of Duty. Nintendo hasn't even made an original ip since Pikmin(not counting the mini-games). All they do is take the characters they thought of years ago and put them in new situations. I do think it's great that they somehow make the games fresh but honestly they can't do that forever.
