deuce? Why the hell would Activision raise prices in the midst of a global recession? $60 USD is pretty much the industry standard (in NA). If this carries over to the US I'll be waiting for this game to hit the used bin.
I have actually played through the game twice and watched all the cut scenes. I guess Nathan is just that memorable to me.
Quite the stretch in order to drum up controversy (and hits) where there is none. I mean to my knowledge there are no planes flying into office buildings in Red Faction.
If we're going to make a big deal out of a game with destruction elements being released on 9/11, we might as well make a big deal out of airlines offering flights on 9/11. Ridiculous.
Is about as generic as video game characters get. Another silent (but deadly) one man army clone that are a dime a dozen in video games. I can't see Hale hanging with the likes of Solid Snake. Did he even speak in the first Resistance game?
If a regular game retails for $60 and this edition is $149.99 what kind of quality are people expecting in these "NVGs". Save you money, get the hardened edition if you want some MW2 goodies and go to Toyr R' Us and get a kids pair of "NVGs" for $20. The quality will be the same.
That EA is ignoring the problem and feverishly at work on FIFA '10? EA does the exact frickin' thing with almost every game they release.
Battlefield Bad Company was and is still plagued by voice chat problems and lag.
FIFA '09 the cheaters have overrun the game. I guess once everyone learns how to stack their teams it'll be at least somewhat even again.
Then I hear that Battlefield 1943 has major issues upon release. Even after boosting the servers P...
Disc based games submitted to Sony after 1/1/09 will have trophies and all of them will have 1 Platinum trophy. It's up to the dev to distribute the rest of the Gold, Silver & Bronze trophies. In the case of Terminator Salvation there are only Gold trophies (for completing each level on Hard mode) and 1 platinum for finishing the game. It's definitely different than most PS3 games.
And yeah, according to PS3trophies.org there are a lot of games with platinum trophies... 60+ ...
you're commenting about it so it looks like you care. Just saying.
I'm used to old school RE games where you save up ammo. By the time I got to Wesker I had plenty of ammo and dispatched him easily. Actually, I saved up all my Magnum ammo for the last fight, it was a bit of a joke how easy it was on the 'Normal' setting. After your first run through the game it only gets easier with infinite ammo.
that the PS3 slim is eventually coming to the market. It's not a matter of if but when. Look at Sony's past 2 consoles - both have had redesigns. The redesigns save Sony and the consumer money. The real news is here would be a date and price.
"It (PS2) served me well until the Summer of 2004 when a leaky roof in a dodgy rental combined with electricity to blow it to bits."
"It was at that point I learned of the fragility of the device."
LOL. Water + electronics... What exactly did this guy expect? Agree with the theme of the rest though.
The website says it all.
I've been a fan of fighters for ages. I can't believe how out of it some dev's are with what fans want. This will definitely cut down on replay value in T6. Though I guess I'll still beat the game with each character to see their individual endings. That is if endings aren't "outdated".
But there is some truth to what the guy is saying. The Wii is absolutely flooded with junk titles. There are good games, yes. But the ratio of good games to shovelware isn't in the Wii's favor.
Also speaking from my experience: from friends/family that have purchased the Wii - the majority bought it because of it's "fad" status. Most of my friends are professionals - college grads, etc. - they play the Wii here and there, but mostly it sits there. My friends that have k...
Well what I meant by "SE's experiment" was that they're trying to target more western gamers with their games. Infinite Undiscovery & Last Remnant are geared toward the west... or so I've read. SO4 is more of a traditional Action-RPG. All of it seems like a step backward. JRPGs have to change no doubt but not with gimmicks. They need solid story lines in addition to solid graphics - SO4 I'm looking at you!
That's over a billion dollars in fines just this year! No company - Microsoft included can afford to keep getting this many fines. The 1990's are over Microsoft! The days of bullying other companies without consequence ended with the 90's!
SE's X360 experiment isn't paying off. Those are abysmal numbers. This is coming from a X360 owner who owns all the SE games on the system, btw.
For their own sake, SE needs to get their act together, focus on quality instead of quantity/remakes and start publishing on the PS3.
Been a Capcom fan for years and there are many games I'd rather see get a sequel before DMC. How about a new Onimusha, Rival Schools, Darkstalkers, Breath of Fire, Dino Crisis?
And please for the love of all that is right take the backtracking out of DMC 5 if there must be a sequel!
I only use GameStop/EB when I get gift cards. Otherwise I buy my games at Amazon. I have InFamous preordered for $53.99 w/ free shipping. GS can't beat that.
say that trophies are the better system, imo. There's just something more rewarding and familiar to unlocking a Bronze, Silver, Gold and of course Platinum trophies. The value of achievements has always been curious to me - seemingly random numbers at times in certain games.
