I'd love to have this wheel but at this price point I think I'll stick with my DFGT.
The advantage of owning both a PS3 & X360 is that there is no such thing as an exclusive. Though if I had to pick one console with the better lineup it would be the PS3.
Too many games too little time...
I didn't realize that KZ3 was due out in Feb '11!
I'm not the type to pre-order either. Like you said, there are always plenty of copies of games - even the most popular releases.
Though I did pre-order GT5 to get the bonus Stealth AMG-Mercedes car in-game.
So more of the same game that "rocked" is a bad thing then?
@ihateyoufanboys,
I think our definition of a "finished" product are different. If you consider minor things like the ability to turn the HUD off/on a critical factor in GT5 being a finished product then we're at odds.
I'm sure I could nitpick software that you write and slam it for missing Wingdings font #3 but that would be asinine.
Given the scope of what GT5 is, it is a finished product. Adding features now is polish. ...
If your complaint were leveled against Bethesda or EA I could see your point. But GT5 is an incredibly well developed game that is a finished product. Polyphony is just adding polish now.
So are you some sort of software engineer? I'm dubious because it's commonplace for world-class software companies to update their software post release with patches, bug fixes and improvements. Just saying, you sound a bit naive to make those types of assertions.
In my opinion, yes, it's wrong. But it's soooo trendy to hate something that most people generally like so whatever the hell Kotaku.
My personal favorites in this update:
- Ability to copy save files
- Garage sorting is now saved
- Online Dealership stocked with hard to find cars
Great update PD! Keep up the great work. GT5 hasn't left my PS3 since November!
$49.99 Sold!
FFXIII was a major disappointment. Thus if this proves to be true - another disappointment by SE.
Looking forward to TES:V! I'll pick this up for me PC.
Jebus, already with the trash talk.
Dear MS & Turn-10,
Please let your product speak for itself.

I still have my original copy but might play thru Chrono Cross again when it hits the PSN Store. Overall it's a fantastic game and I would recommend it to any JRPG fan.
Hmm, history has shown these add-on upgrade kits usually aren't received well by the buying public. Sega 32x and Nintendo's N64 Expansion Pack for example.
It's a patent I would wager never makes it past R&D.
Release day purchase for me, no doubt.
Mafia 2 is one of my favorite games from 2010. I think the voice acting is fantastic and one of the highlights of the game. I also can see how the plot is difficult to follow. Maybe Charlie has A.D.D.?
Square-Enix hands down. They went from being my favorite developer on the SNES, PS1 era to fading quickly post merger. Now the best effort they can muster is Final Fantasy XIII?
I read all of IGNs review and it reminded me of something a friend and fellow auto enthusiast told me a few years ago. At the time I was researching a new car purchase and I knew I wanted German - specifically a BMW or Mercedes. My friend being a BMW owner compared the two like this:
You buy a BMW for the joy of driving because you like driving. You enjoy the feel of the road; tight, responsive steering and performance over function.
You buy a Mercedes for c...
Metal Slug. Enough said.
But I agree with about the prices. They're a bit absurd considering the age of the content and the fact that it's free on PC.
