I really enjoy both Gran Turismo and Forza but there can be only one king... and that title belongs to Gran Turismo.
Fallout 3: NV for $40 is pretty good for a new copy. I might pick that up.
I still own my Dreamcast and all of my original games including Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi. It's a shame that these ports are faring so poorly but at least in this case Sega really dropped the ball. Charing $10 for a half-arsed port that lacks the original soundtrack and simply upscaling to 720p aren't going to cut it no matter how good the original material was.
I'd love to play an old classic with improved controls, better graphics and trophies. But looks l...
I can honestly say that I would never buy a "premium" demo. It's idiotic and contradictory to what a DEMOnstration actually is. A demo is nothing more than kicking the tires and driving around the block - only for video games. How about Honda start charging consumers to test drive their vehicles before having the "privilege" of buying? It' isn't going to happen.
I think EA is living in a dream world. Sure there will be idiots who buy this because they have to ...
I'm buying a Wii when this game releases. One of my all-time favorite series! Looking forward to a few other Wii exclusives as well but DQ is the main reason.
I'll be buying this game to show my support to Downsized Games! The plot of the game made me LOL.
Sorry but this is still overpriced memory. I'm looking at my PS3 with a 500gb HDD that cost $89.99 delivered to my door. Next to my PC I've got 2x 1.5TB drives that cost $139.99/each delivered.
Yup, still another overpriced X360 add-on. Pass.
Very limited selection of PS3 titles. Sure it's 89 games but mostly stuff nobody wants at inflated prices. Even if you wanted a copy of 'The Golden Compass' you still have to put up with horrible condition the game, box and instruction manual will be in. Probably covered in GS/EB stickers.
Calling this "the mother of all games sales"... is someone at Gamer Deals drunk?
MS3 will definitely be a day 1 purchase. Seriously though... 3 MS games early in the PS3's life and no word on Twisted Metal. It's time Sony!!
The honcho's over at Sony are even aware that they're embroiled in a console war? I grew up with PlayStation and it's a shame to see Sony consistently fold up like a house of cards.
I actually somewhat enjoyed the original Fable, though of course it failed to live up to the hype that Pete himself created. Fable 2 had prettier graphics but that's about it.
I haven't genuinely enjoyed a Final Fantasy title since FFIX on the PS1. Yet I'll still end up buying FFXIII regardless of news like this. Nostalgia I suppose for this once great series.
Probably not if you're an uneducated X360 owner!
LOL! I kid. :)
For the PS3 by a company called Big Sky Communications. They asked some basic background info and for likes and dislikes for the PS3 and PSN.
I fully believe that these results are accurate. I'm 28 and grew up with Playstation so it's only natural that the console sits in my home theater now. The vast majority of my friends are educated - at least a 4yr degree some with advanced degrees. Almost every one of them has a PS3 and the average age is 27-28yrs old.
Looks pretty bare bones. I'm intrigued by Battle Tanks which looks like an old school top-down shooter with tanks thrown in the mix. That's about it for confirmed content.
Here's hoping for Fallout 3 DLC for the PSN!! LONG OVERDUE!
Also some new avatars & dynamic themes would be nice.
For almost 3 years I've been enjoying:
- The best 1st party games on any console
- BD movies
- streaming my DVD movies directly from my PC to my HDTV thru my PS3
Sure it's cheaper now but I've definitely gotten my money's worth out of my PS3.
Except for DMC IV. The game is completely average and stale. Same cliche's, same boring gameplay, same semi-static camera and the same cheesy storyline - just prettier to look at.
Also, I'm no fan of SOCOM: Confrontation.
I was a bit shocked about Valkryia Chronicles... less than 100k copies sold? Is that accurate?
1. GTA IV
2. Halo 3
3. Rock Band/Guitar Hero
4. Spore
5. Fable II
GTA IV was a bellow average game and the worst of the GTA series this side of GTA III. Average DLC to a bellow average game = pass.
The only reason this is relevant is because:
1. MS's supposed exclusivity & the money they wasted on it.
2. The "Grand Theft Auto" name is widely known.
Good luck trying to get anything out of that turnip. Glad I decided to pass on Black Ops altogether.
