Man stop it, just stop. Common sense doesn't work on this site.
Here is why it isn't good.
1. No resell value in purchased games. Let's say you buy a game and you beat it in a few days and to you it has no replay value. So now what?
2. The digital download games should come cheaper than the disc based versions. I mean no packaging or shipping fees so why are they still $60 like a physical copy?
Had the pricing between the PS4 and XOne were reversed, these debates would be null and void. It's the higher cost of one over the other with the seemingly weaker performance that is the issue.
This writer is the problem. It's fun going in articles and reading back and forth arguments. If you are the type to take things personal them stay off the Internet plain and simple. Always remember to have fun and be respectful. Nothing wrong with a good debate and that is the reason people return to this site regularly. If you don't have thick skin you don't belong here. Period.
Amen!
Done.
I personally think the DS4 is phenomenal. I'll accept being in the minority on this one.
Give me a break. What type of geeky perv article is this?
I don't understand why this is news. It's not like it grew do to people's choice. It grew because the people had no choice that is if you want to play online. To add to that Sony dropped the ball on this one because PS+ as of right now has more value to Vita and PS3 owners. I'm sure the PS4 will grow but as of now this isn't really newsworthy.
Maybe they will follow in Sony's footsteps and make the new cheaper model more powerful than the current. I really don't see the point in going cheaper if it's not going to close the performance gap.
Lmao!
It's not as much of a joke as it is a fact.
The power in the entire Unchartered series has always been the story and the environments. As long as these two are nailed down it's a success. The only changes I see as a must is of course finding unique ways of integrating the DS4 into the gameplay, and some more vehicles wouldn't hurt.
In my opinion some things just don't need a sequel and this is one of them. No matter how they try and twist things the impact of the original was one of a kind.
The voice commands overall on both systems is a joke compared to Siri or S-Voice. It would be nice if the console voice commands weren't so scripted. At least on the PS4 you can partially name something and it comes up. For example just say open "Duty" or "Ghost" and it knows what game you're talking about. However, it does not recognize the pre-installed apps like Netflix which is bone headed.
1. No one bought the system to play cd's or mp3's but I do understand the complaint.
2. You can always use the "Camera" with voice control to locate your app.
3. Sony never forced the camera as a purchase item for one and secondly Live on PS is the best unadvertised feature. I spend more time watching cast than playing a game.
4. The Share button is hardly used by myself so I have no comment.
That is all. Lol!
Us gamers have grown beyond being impressed with cut scene footage. It's all about actual gameplay. What does the game look like when you're in control? Show some of that and then we may be impressed. Even a smartphone can render some damn impressive cutscenes footage.
No arguments from me on this article.
My only complaint is the severe delay in audio output between the TV's speakers and the controller's speaker when listening to an audio log. Maybe I am the only one experiencing this but it makes me want to turn the controller's sound off.
Why do idiots like you act like gamers can't just own both systems if they so choose? Sit around being jealous of what exactly? If someone wants to play an XBone or aPS4 game they can just buy the damn thing. #Dumbass
You mean the Euro equivalent is $90? Gotdayummm!
