Those pics are doctored. Look at the beta videos on both and you will see a huge difference. These differences were quite noticeable 24 hours ago.

In Sony's case the larger the user base the more investment risk they are willing to take moving forward.
In MS' case being behind will force them to make sacrifices in order to keep up.

It may have improved from the alpha to the beta on X1, bet even still it's light years behind the PC beta. If the X1 can match the resolution of the PC beta by launch they are good to go. I saw such a huge gap in visuals that it's disturbing.
Click on the link in the right on the page to see the PC version. No wonder MS is delaying the PC version to the X1's version. I don't think we have seen much of the PC gameplay because it looks next level.

EA and Respawn certainly got the short end of the stick in this deal considering the Sony fanbase size could quite literally have doubled whatever they sell.
