This is one of the more realistic reviews that I have read. The lower one's expectations are going in the better enjoyment the game will be.

The developer never said it was impossible, he said that it will just take some time for other developers to master the tricks to get 1080p. I don't recall him saying that it's not possible.

I wouldn't call it genius. All that it really does is creates a lane for someone to commit to saving up for it. How is it really any different from just saving up without a layaway plan and buying when you have enough?
Just think about it for a minute. It makes no sense for MS to do this because the XBox is easier to find. It would be unfair if Sony did this right now because there are so many who are willing to pay right now for one.
Mercenary Warriors and them other BS games aren't Resogun & Outlast. No one is arguing independent games, but c'mon was Don't Starve really worth being the first free to play game since launch? I know some like it, but for the majority it was disappointing. Don't Starve looks like a free iPad game.

It really doesn't matter what software they release, because you can't sell more than you're capable of making. Sony's problem right now is hardware output. I'd say come July you will be able to just walk into any GameStop and pick up a PS4.

Actually they did do some of that. The pink elephant car wash place in the game is real and the real car wash will be selling copies of the game when it launches.
The game's images actually look more appealing the the real photos. That's impressive.
Just as long as they don't count those layaway units until after they are paid off. Lol!
I'm surprised people even remember the stories in COD games. Everything flies by so quick in the game that I never had time to actually reflect on it.
Now take everything that you just said and apply it to the global figures. The PS4 has outsold every single game that the XOne has also released, and let's not even talk Killzone globally compared to the 3 XB1 exclusives. All while KZ was competing with BF4 and Ghost.
To Killzone's credit it was competing with two juggernauts in it's genre, hence the reason the XOne has higher sells on both BF4 and GHOST. So the PS4 buyers had three options to choose from for a FPS. Considering all of this I think KZ has done well.
I'd be more concerned about Ryse and DR3 because they had no competition as far as recent releases are concerned.
Forza had Need For Speed to compete with so it's doing fine I guess.
You're right TF would sell more but it's more due to genre popularity than quality. I don't think anyone can form a valid argument stating that TF is of higher quality than Infamous based on what we've seen.
