I was certain that this was this gen's Deep Down.
This is basically why the PS4 is selling more. We can talk system selling exclusives all day, but it's the multiplats that undeniably move units and if the X1's developers can't find a way to even the playing filed they will get smacked every time Assassin's Creed, COD, GTA or Battlefiled releases.
A homie of mines has played the Beta and his exact word are this was the funnest on-line game that he has ever played. He sad that it doesn't look the greatest but it's fun as Hell. Although I despise on-line play we share similar taste and I will take his word over any bloggers. I will now have to assume that this game meets the hype because this guy is tough on games.
The casuals know nothing about the E3 mishaps and the DRM fiasco or even the resolution gate. The casuals do not search N4G everyday and gain influence from trolls.
The casuals represent the majority of the buyers and all they see are two things the PRICE and the consumer REVIEWS. That's it they see one is $100 cheaper with higher reviews. SOLD.

I can't speak on the networks because I don't play on-line much, but the "so called free games" are legit.

MS isn't doing anything with the X1 version to make it stand out from the PC/360 versions. Are they going to introduce something with Kinect 2.0 that can't be done on the PC or Kinect 1? If not then this game can't be enough to help increase their sells in any significant way.
Titan Fall is technically not an exclusive for the X1 so no it wouldn't be enough.
I don't think any game outside of Mario could hold a system down for a year.Too many FPS come out too often, and it's only a matter of time before you get a Titan Fall copy cat.

It's not doing bad at all, it's just that it is not doing as good as the PS4. This constant focus on what the PS4 is doing will hurt them eventually. Look at what Sony did with the turnaround of the PS3. They never focused on what MS was doing.
I haven’t bought a physical game since Cyberpunk back in 2020. I think that was only because I had a gift card.
