See this is why the consoles for Sega failed cause of these stupid decisions that they constantly make. Nobody over there have a clue of how to run the company.
Look Squarenix has made a lot of mistakes with FF14 but with the right people at the helm it has become a major success. Why can't Sega see that PSOnline can be as successful?
It's about time! The only guy at Xbox who seemingly knows what is going on.
Good job Microsoft, you finally made a good decision in 11 months since announcing the Xbox one back in May.
Unfortunately i have to agree with you there. This game from what i hear has some pretty disturbing imagery & morbid story that only the Japanese will understand.
The gameplay is pretty simple hack & slash which shouldn't be any issue unless the game media make it to be.
Also preordered the collectors with all the DLC, though i am hesitant to play it cause seeing pretty girls kill each other is a little dark.
Like i said in numerous other articles about these layoffs & people leaving is that games by Sony's 1st party are held at a higher standard than most games cause of their reputation for delivering those standards in the past.
Yeah it sucks that people are let go or leave but they are held accountable when those standards aren't met. If it is true about Stig's project it shows the commitment from Sony to try to make it work even after the failings.
All Final Fantasy games should have the staple that is the 'Prelude', this theme is the essence of Final Fantasy since it began in 1987.
Here is a collection of all the preludes for every numbered Final Fantasy title. Notice that FF 13 is the only one that deviated from the distinct sound the 'Prelude' is known for.

I am far from the end of the game, working on the end story currently. From what i hear the story in FF 14 is just a part of the overall story that has yet to be told since it is a MMO.
So far from my experience with the game, coming from a guy who generally does not care for MMOs the game is a blast & feels like a traditional Final Fantasy game. Lots of classic music, easter eggs, nostalgia for fans of the series. Yes it is paid subscription but i feel it is worth every...
Goddammit!! So may games so little time to play all of them especially if you are a JRPG fan like myself.
Been indulged with FF 14 (waiting for the move to PS4 in April), haven't cracked open my Tales of Symphonia Chronicles collectors edition yet, half way through Fate & Guided Paradox, FF X/X-2 i can only play on the bus going to work, need to kill Pringer X on chaos mode for Disgaea D2 for my platinum trophy!
And now news that Xillia 2 is close to...
Yeah it feels like a MMO for driving games. You can play solo for as long as you want but if you really want to get the full experience joining a 'guild/club' opens up even more possibilities.
They are really accessible & easy to get into but difficult to master that makes people keep on coming back for more. Anyone of any age can pick up a rhythm game and play it for hours. It also depends if the music grabs you to make you continue playing, if the music is something one does not like they may not come back to it.
I've been playing Hatsune Miku a lot on my Vita and it looks easy enough man the game can be really intense at later levels of difficulty. It su...
I missed talking about all the hoopla surrounding the recent layoffs news that has affected Sony the past few months & although i think it sucks i don't think it is the 'doom' a lot of people think it will be. My reason is look at Naughty Dog for an example.
Way back Naughty Dog saw the departures of their founders & if that was news today everyone would think that Naughty Dog was closing. However with the right people in place like Evan Wells & Christ...
It is good to finally hear some news for this game. Even with the departure of the director that the studio is working hard to deliver a high quality game.
A lot of people see that once the director left the game would be cancelled or other things. So it is reassuring to know that a release date is imminent.
A side note i would like to add that i was unable to talk about is although all the recent news about layoffs hitting Sony's first party is worrisome...
The battle system was stellar in FF X-2, the ability to change jobs on the fly added a lot of dimensions to battles. The characters were likable & visiting Spira again is always nice to do, it was a vibrant world.
The achilles heel for the game is that it had a terrible story or should i say a badly written story. The premise was interesting but the execution of it was poorly done.
It gets the flack it does cause the direction of it was so totally out in ...
T_T That was so beautiful! T_T
Not since Titanic did i cry so much......
@ boyscout299
I get what you are trying to say but i was wondering were you around when the PS3 had the exact same issue. People were saying 'it had no games...blah blah blah'. Look at how that has turned out, there are now too many games to play on it.
There is this old saying that you might have heard of 'good things come to those who wait'. Heck even Microsoft is harping on this is a marathon not a sprint, the same thing Sony has been sayin...
It has to be Disgaea dood! Heck or maybe Asagi will finally FINALLY get her own game.
Looking forward to see what craziness Nippon Ichi will come up with.
Never underestimate the power of people looking for their few moments of fame. Like it or not the human ego is a powerful thing. The chance to become recognized on the internet for a brief moment is something hard to pass up.
The Playroom is an ingenious method to accomplish that. Next to that it is cheap & isn't forced upon the user so if they want it they may choose to do so. Also the phenomenon of game streaming has become very popular as lets players now have an ...

It may or not be bad but it would seem pretty obvious that the game may have performance issues like frame rate. This is different from cod and resistance cause those were entirely made from the ground up, borderlands is a port so it's still the same borderlands we've played already.
Other than performance what else can possibly go wrong?
Just like they did with the 360 they will try to 'buy' exclusive Japanese content to peak interest. So don't be surprised that during E3 they announce some of these exclusives.
However the main difference this time around is that many Japanese developers may have some hesitation with these deals this time around. The exclusives released for the 360 in Japan barely made a dent & for the most part wasn't really worth the effort.
Look at Tal...
If Infamous looks this good so early in the PS4 life imagine what it would look like in 3-5 years time when Sucker Punch decide to make the next one.
I look at it in the same way Uncharted evolved on the PS3. Look at Uncharted 1 compared to Uncharted 2 or 3, what a difference a few years can make. Excited to see what Sony's 1st party are capable of down the line.
