Yeah pretty much what Lou said. For a person who barely plays mmo's at all this is the first to get me hooked onto the genre.

Squarenix has done a lot of wrong the past few years including the launch of this game but the way the turned this game around is nothing short of remarkable & is one of the reasons they are doing better as a whole. The tapped into their history with this game with many references to past FF game.

yeah, way too many of them online. Barely see anything at Mor Dohna :D

Have mine but will stick with normal chocobo.

A great mmo for those who love the nostalgic value of Final Fantasy. Looks and plays great on the PS4 with pretty fast loading times.

Easy to be part of a guild/company & players are some of the friendliest i've seen in a mmo. Not too many jerks online, many willing to help whenever.

Freedom Wars looks sooooo goood! Want to see how the grappling hook mechanic works.

I thought i read that the new gameplay is for the online aspect of the game i may be wrong though. They did say there is no more single player stuff for the game.

My reasoning for improved gameplay cause on the PS4 they are capable of improving the AI even more so than they did on the PS3. Like i said people complained that Ellie being ignored by the enemies broke immersion so i was wondering if Naughty Dog made any adjustments to that part of the game.

Naugh...

I do not understand to the life of me why Microsoft keeps shoe horning game functionality onto the Kinect. Can't they see that the Kinect works great as a user interface peripheral when dealing with menus, or media functionality.

As a game device it's just not capable of doing the things its suppose to do. There will always be lag & for a motion device that basically kills the immersion.

Hopefully Microsoft can finally realize the true potential o...

The Last of Us was a technical marvel on an 8 year old hardware. Imagine what this game will look like on the PS4....*mindblowing*

So maybe now all those who complained about Ellie not being noticed may get your wish now, i wonder if Naughty Dog has made any tweeks to the gameplay like AI & other things.

Sony would consider it but i doubt Microsoft will ever do that. They are very protective of Live, so much so they barely allow PC players access, heck or even Steam. Even F2P games are very scarce on Live.

Sony has been pretty open with their network, like allow Steam for Portal 2 & not to mention Final Fantasy 14 ARR where PC, PS3 & soon PS4 players all play together.

I think the PS3 version has been cancelled a long time ago & that the team has made the transition to the PS4. Just like Ico was supposed to be a PSone game that made the jump to PS2 cause of how ambitious the game was the same could be said with The Last Guardian.

Ueda's concept for the game was just to big for the aging hardware of the PS3, it just wasn't able to do what he wanted the game to do. With the PS4 the team has the ability to do what Ueda hoped for. ...

I agree. There are many 360/Wii owners who had made the switch over to PS4 that missed the game when it released on the PS3. Now that the PS4 is currently the leading console of choice there will be many gamers diving into this gem for the first time.

Also since a film adaptation is on the way this will let people interested in that get acquainted with the story.

It probably didn't cost Sony a lot of money to make the port so some extra dollars in for a r...

Japan are just slow adopters of new hardware minus handhelds. It usually takes them a few years to move to a new console, even the PSone & PS2 were slow movers until a few years later but software is what will drive Japan to adopt.

Once the PS4 gets more Japanese centric games it will be fine. If you look at sales of past consoles the numbers aren't that huge anyway. The PS2 only did 23 million over its lifetime in Japan.

I get what you are saying but you gotta remember most of the games you mentioned (SOTC, LOU, GOW) came out during the middle & end of the consoles library.

It is pretty normal that the first year or so of a new console the lineup is pretty scarce when dealing with AAA first party games. That is why Sony is dealing with so many Indies to fill in the time until these games are ready. Then there are the 3rd party games as well to hold us over.

We were fortun...

Though it would be interesting dissidia is a game that would welcome 2 sticks cause of the funky camera it has. Even on the PSP the single stick was awkward.

Can't see why it can't be on both like a few games already like conception or virtues last reward.

Not sure maybe but it's pretty sure Nomura is the head guy on the game. If Tabata is involved that is a good move since he is a very good director. Having directed crisis core, both dissidia's, saved 3rd birthday from being a train wreck, and most recently type 0.

The success of the HD versions of X/X-2 are probably the reasons why we may be getting a third version of the game. If you hear the audio message that was included with the game it strongly hints at a 3rd game.

As for Dissidia that would be great if it was on the Vita which i believe will be the system. The past 2 were on the PSP & they were both very successful games for Squarenix. Since Nomura is probably busy with FF15 & Kingdom Hearts i guess Tabata will be in cha...

Many of you guys/gals above already have said some really good reasons why the Vita is excellent hardware.

I believe the Vita will last longer than the 3DS tech wise. How many more years will the 3DS last with its current specs when games get even more complicated. I won't be surprised in 2-3 years time we see another Nintendo handheld, while the Vita has enough tech in it to last years from now.

Yeah but long long ago in a galaxy far away EA wasn't as bad as they are now. She'll do great over there cause she knows her stuff when it comes to writing.

Studios close down, people are laid off, people leave all the time ever since this industry began. It will continue to be like that & is not gonna change cause the game industry is what a lot of people seem to forget is a BUSINESS.

Yeah it sucks but it is the nature of being in a business, there is no security at all. There are rewards & there are risks when involved in a business.

As for Sony & what is happening i for one is not worried. The game...

Best of luck to Ms.Henning in her new role....ironic she's writing for Star Wars cause joining EA is like joining the 'Dark Side'.

Was hoping she would be apart of Eidos again & maybe finish what she started with the Legacy of Kain series but now that may never happen.

One of the best opening intros to a JRPG ever made. The music for the series is stellar & the first Wild Arms game was the very first game i ever bought for the PSone.

An underrated series that was unfortunately overshadowed by the release of the juggernaut that was Final Fantasy 7. I remember it was the first JRPG for the PSone (Beyond the Beyond does not count :P) &am...
