My goodness this game looks and gets better every time I see it. The quality of this is amazing & Sony is selling this for $30?! They're crazy!
Puppeteer is such an underrated game! It's so good! If you love platform games Puppeteer is a blast to play & look at.
Awww this looks adorable. Kinda reminds me of Ico but in reverse. Definitely keep my eye out for this one.
I would take the Nippon Ichi one with a grain of salt. Last gen they also announced support with the 360 & released a game called 'Cross Edge' but after that they completely ignored the platform.
Granted Cross Edge wasn't really a good game per say but i think they saw the sales of it & decided to concentrate on Playstation instead.
Like i said many of these same developers were also supposedly 'on board' with the 360. However as w...
Is that all the excuse you can come up with? One is selling in more countries than the other.
Microsoft made the choice to sell in regions that they were most successful last gen like the UK & US. So far the PS4 is outselling the One in those same regions that Microsoft were counting on.
Do you REALLY think that selling in Japan (where in 8 years the 360 has sold 2 million not even), or the other markets that Microsoft themselves consider 2nd tier to mak...
Gotta hand it to Microsoft for trying again in a region that if history serves is a very poor market for them. They will again try to 'lock' exclusive Japanese content onto their system with enticing Japanese developers with their vast amount of cash. It didn't work with the original Xbox, it failed again on the 360, so what makes them believe it will work this time around.
Also the list of developers is impressive but it should be noted that even though this look...
Don't get me wrong, RE4 is an absolute brilliant game. However it is the game that started the RE free fall turning the series into an action game rather than a survival horror game. It's the game that added all the QTEs, the big set pieces, gun heavy combat that the latter games have relied too heavily upon.
The Japanese developers were the masters of turn based RPG mechanics. However when many of their big name studios moved away from that to 'westernize' their franchises it was up to the lower level developers to continue on that tradition.
Smaller Japanese developers do not have the brand power & broad appeal than the bigger names like Squarenix. So these turn based game did not get any recognition other than from the die hard fans.
It is up to com...
Yeah couch multiplayer was sorely missed last gen. Playing something like Towerfall is a super blast, one of the best experiences with my friends while playing a game. So much trash talking going about...hilarious.
This is so much for Project Morpheus cause they talked about it during the GDC conference. Sony is pushing VR to be a social experience rather than a solitary one.
So lots of firmware updates are good now? I remember when 360 gamers made fun that the PS3 had so many of them.
Like some have said. The system is selling well even without many features. Sony are taking suggestions on what to add as a priority & what can be saved for a later date.
Here is a writer who actually knows what is going on with the series & the game as a whole. So tired of this gender specific arguments about violence in the game or any other game for that matter.
We had strong female characters in MGS but where were the articles talking about them? Did we forget Paz was a strong but psychotic women at the end of Peacewalker? I commend Kojima for pushing the boundaries of his games regardless of 'political' issues.
Now if i only had 5K to buy a 4K TV.......(sigh)
The Vita will never outpace the 3DS but it can carve out a successful lifetime just like the PSP did in Japan. As we can see with this weeks charts & last weeks, the software are slowly coming to the Vita that are of interest.
Just like the article i posted last week that mentions the president of Drinkbox studios raving about the Vita, it is a very good handheld. It doesn't have to have 3DS numbers to be a worthy competitor. Name another non Nintendo handheld that ha...
They love Japanese mechs cause Super Robot Wars is on top of the charts while Titanfall barely made a dent.
I remember people saying that the Japanese will go crazy for Titanfall cause it has mechs, well not as crazy as people believed now.
People seem to forget that if it wasn't for Sony there wouldn't be a Squarenix at all.

After Sakaguchi took a gamble by making an ill advised film that cost the company a lot of money, Squaresoft was close to closure. Sony came in bought a lot of stock in Square to keep them afloat until the merger with Squarenix was ...
Totally agree with you there.
Been playing it for 3 months now & from someone like me who usually doesn't care for MMO's this game won me over.
It captures the history of the franchise by giving the player a nostalgic feeling. From the classic Final Fantasy theme, to recognizable enemies & bosses, it is a love letter to fans of the series that grew up with it.
Also the game is kick ass fun.
This is Naughty Dog we are talking about. They aren't gonna half ass any project they work on whether it be new IP or a remaster.
Freedom Wars is going to be a blast to play i can feel it. Plus the music sound like it'll be epic!
Japan Studio has been really on a role since Allan Becker took over. With the release of high quality content like Gravity Rush, Puppeteer, Rain, Tokyo Jungle it has been a good year for the studio.
Good job Shahid & Adam for making this a reality! It may also be that Bamco saw the success of Xillia, Xillia 2 (preorders) & the sales of Symphonia Chronicles that convinced them to bring this game over.
The Vita is beginning to see its true potential ever so slowly & that it is a very good portable handheld.
It's not that surprising that Nintendo is following suite of what they did last year. Having the ability to manage a controlled environment is easier in case 'live' presentations tend to occasionally have issues.
They can present at their own pace & focus on the games rather than the spectacle a live press conference needs. Nintendo will do their E3 direct as usual and the same as last year be on hand at the show floor.
It's what Nintendo ...
