When you're in the gaming industry and AdWeek starts covering your escapades...you know you're doing something wrong.
I seriously think about that every time I see one of these articles.
bummer...if it takes a lawyer to understand how you can or cannot use something you pay $400+ for...it may be best to not buy it.
I hate that I am going to have to take a wait and see approach to something that used to be as simple as popping in a game and playing it.
I am really struggling to comprehend how this has become such a complicated endeavor...it's f*&king video games...not law school. They just keep creating more questions by the minute.
I wish we lived in a world where Nintendo would purposefully underclock their system until the new Sony and Microsoft systems were announced and then drop the bomb...
I miss megaton E3 announcements...I can dream I guess
I can't wait to see the Ouya...that's next gen right there...they don't even need to show the console in the building, they'll just use the parking lot
Nintendo wins with ffvi remake...I can dream
This presentation is a PR disaster...I would seriously hate to be part of the media relations agency for Microsoft right now :)
Hard to call it a reveal if there is still tons of speculation and unanswered questions. Maybe this should have just been an internal ra ra meeting.
it's cool...but I am a cord cutter...based on this event 50% of the console doesn't apply to me and never will.
insert sad emoticon here
Edit: Kinect...hmm...why are you doing this to us. I'm sorry, but this doesn't appear to be a gaming event. This appears to be a media player like roku...he just said DVR...why is that on a game console. WHY!!!!
Here's a crazy thought...make FF games that are actually like FF games. They need to make a throw back JRPG immediately...with ATB, drop down windows...crazy Japanese monsters eating the world...the whole shebang.
...boring...
hahaha, that's funny
They don't have to use something we've already seen before...maybe they are going back to cartridges...using mini-sd cards turbo graphics 16 style
The only reason why I don't agree with the fragmented matchmaking logic is because of DLC as a whole. So (1) map in a separate mode fragments the matchmaking more than (4) map packs of "x" maps?
I have never bought a single DLC map pack...something about that logic to explain pulling it seems off to me.
patent pending...now we need capital hahaha
Never really understood the appeal of bashing a game...for those saying games like Halo, Madden and COD don't innovate enough...what exactly are you looking for?
Football is football...should they add zombies...should they add football to COD...everyone says it's so cookie cutter, but no one has a solution or idea to quantify exactly what innovation means.
You have a gun...you shoot the gun at people...should the guns shoot puppies?
...nope...
This reminds me of this classic rant from Jay and Silent Bob:
All you motherf$%kers are gonna pay. You are the ones who are the ball-lickers. We're gonna f&$k your mothers while you watch and cry like little bitches. Once we get to these four new close quarters maps and find those COD f&*$s who are making these maps, we're gonna make 'em eat our shi$, then shi$ out our shi$, then eat their shi$ which is made up of our shi$ that we made 'em eat. Then yo...
start?
Don't get me wrong I loved demon souls, but that is not a good comparison of time. 12 hours of action/progression compared to 60 hours...at least half which is spent grinding is very misleading.
I will be getting both, but don't want some hapless chap to read that and think dark souls it is going to to be 60 hours of excitement
Not trying to get doused with hot lava...but...this is pretty par for the course for all major companies with an ad spend, it's social management.
