This guy dogging on his own game is really starting to piss me off...I bought that game. He is basically telling me that he sold me a pile of sh#t...which he already did with the original Fable.
They really need to put a muzzle on this dude...he should be spending more time telling us how Fable III is actually going live up to expectation.
My dog barely bumped into my media center a couple years ago and decimated a copy of Madden. I got over it cause it gave me a reason to stop playing that year.....it was such a terrible game.
SE's problem is they keep trying to tell themselves what we want here in the "West" but they couldn't be more off the mark. What people wanted from FF13 was a traditional Final Fantasy game with an amazing story and great graphics. I think FF13 is pretty good but it wasn't at all what I was expecting.
If SE is going to try to figure out what we want.....maybe they should ask us instead of trying to guess. I play Fallout 3 because it fulfills a need withi...
I don't know Nuclear Strike and Thunder Strike on PS1 were pretty badass games for anyone that remembers. As long as it's deeper than what I can get from hopping in a helicopter in Just Cause and blowing some stuff up.....I'm listening
@Den_UK
While the way you made your comment is borderline trolling...you do bring up a valid point. This could become a larger issue once people start using kinect. If you are jumping around or multiple people are jumping around there will be a fairly good chance that you will create a good amount of floor vibration that may cause your 360 to shift slightly. This would be a serious problem in older flats with woodfloors and prefab homes. I am predicting it now....N4G will b...
I agree, I wasn't scared....it was more like anxiety with AW. Dead Space on the other hand made me uncomfortable...both are amazing games in the genre
Well played....haha
Wow...this person really wrote this article....and people on this site actually approved this....I....am.....in......sh ock
I think if Alan Wake stayed open world we all would be playing Deadly Premonition....I'm okay with them making it linear.
I don't know, but I think a couple factors went into this game not selling a bagillion copies....since that has now become the barometer for success in video games this gen.
What I do know is, Alan Wake is easily my favorite game this generation across all platforms. Not very many games are capable of inducing the anxiety I felt while playing this game in a dark room.
I think the survival horror genre is not for everyone, it's a very niche audience wh...
Just did the same thing, they placed the order for me over the phone. Thank you very much for the heads up.
So bummed, had one in my cart it took 45 mins to checkout cause the site was so slow....then when i finally checked out they said it was no longer available and had been removed from my cart......
What a kick in the balls
I'm a survival horror junkie....so I guess I'm biased. Alan Wake was one of my favorite games this gen. The way the story is told is very interesting. Definitely one of my favs...the people who haven't played this are missing out on a gem.
Or to stop resale....
Major bummer, I completely jinxed myself. I had to return my new 360 yesterday because the disk tray was making a loud grinding noise. It didn't damage my disk but was spinning very very fast and the grinding was insanely loud.
Luckily the Target by me had 3 in stock to do the exchange. I am going to call this an isolated incident.
Agree...Alan Wake is very underrated. Easily one of the most unique & enjoyable games I've played. It has a really good impact kind of like Alone in the Dark.
Having played this and Deadly Premonition I am happy that Alan Wake stayed away from the open world model. Now if they can focus on facial animation and lip syncing in the 2nd.... It would be golden.
Technically all 360s have a 1-year warranty if you take a moment to read the warranty card with every system. The only issues covered for 3 years are E74 and RROD errors.
For example if you have a disk tray that stops opening up 3 months after the one year warranty you have to pay for that. Outside of the two issues mentioned above there are a lot of things that can go wrong (disk tray, power brick fail etc.)
This is not "new" news, I think people a...
I think people are blowing the whole motion control thing out of proportion. It's Microsoft and Sony's fault for putting so much emphasis on this at E3. Anyways, I think people are jumping to conclusions a bit quickly.....
1. The technology is not completed (kinect or move), they are still fine tuning or it would be out right now
2. It's not for everyone, no one has said you have to use these controls for your respective system

I think it's funny how these wannabe internet journos selectively pull pieces from other peoples work and post it on their site. If you read the rest of the article, he goes on to say how bunk these people are. I 100% agree...if you can't come up with your own story...maybe you're not good at your job and should just do something else.
I would love to see a multi-plat or even a 360 exclusive....but you have to read the entire article to understand that this is no...
I have been saying this since both games came out, I feel like Deadly Premonition is the scraped "open world" version of Alan Wake.... Both are good fun
