There should be a follow up to this article "Why 4k/60 won't be... " because neither of these consoles can achieve, as of right now, 4k/60. They can do it here and there, but the vast majority of their games are not. These consoles are half-steps, the sooner you accept that the sooner "some" of you can stop bickering.

TBH pretty much every game/review website has merch store, at this point you're just looking for a reason to hate him... which is fine, but just come out with it. You confident that you'll be running Destiny 2 @ 144fps? That a very high number, what kind of res we looking at? I'm not doubting that you can't, I just think there's this "myth" that, some, PC guys like to keep going... they myth that all PC gamers are running all their games @ Ultra, @ the highest res, @ the most fps, when the reality is Steam's analytics say other wise. Not a lot of ppl can afford that kind of equipment.

Wishful thinking? But it would be a good move. Doing so would instantly skyrocket the amount of people using the service. With that comes more potential 3rd party support, but also the server headaches.

But I believe that Sony only has the Spirderman exclusive because of rights or something like that being changed hands and part of the deal, or something they worked into it, was a new spiderman game... at least that's the rumors.

The only constant in the game is there will be 100 other users, the map, and whatever cosmetics you may have picked up, you shoot things in it, and there's 100 other users in the game.

@81BX I exposure is good, but it really doesn't move units. Not a lot of the people playing these games can afford a Ferrari, 911 GT3, Lambo. There are enough car magazines, car stuff out there to "sell" these cars to the masses.
@bigpappy in reality you DONT know, and won't know, what the limitations of either of these consoles will be until a full on Pro or X1X exclusive exists... past that is just pure speculation.
Nothing for me, in this sale, but I'm sure there are gamer's out there that will like some of the choices. Realistically, you can't please everyone, with a sale, its just impossible. Retail store's have sales all the time of stuff that I don't want, but that's life. That's why you patiently wait until there's something for you.

I agree, the humans look horrid but those toys... they sure look like toys. It's tough when it comes to colors, blue vs yellow, i get that it isn't color accurate but it's still pretty subjective. I do color corrections, when the photographer is lazy, and I tend to lean toward higher contrast/more dramatic looks. I don't know why, I just like that way that looks, it looks a lot more interesting to me.
Agreed on the ploy counts, still hard to compete with server farms. I personally like the lighting in Toy Story more than KH3. I think it's just a little more subtle, a little more realistic, but that's more taste than anything. Real-time graphics have come a long way, pretty amazing!

Given the success of the game already, even being just early access, I would find it very odd for the dev to just agree to an exclusivity deal. It's not like they're hurting for cash. It's pretty much a runaway success. I mean how much $$$ is MS willing to throw at an Early Access game? A very successful Early Access game. I guess if they thought it was that important of a game, why not just buy up the studio then?
