How about slow download speeds in the US? Cause it's pretty slow here as well. I don't know if there's some kind of cap but my Steam downloads, the very few that I have, have been after than my PS4 downloads.
I like that digital/pixel look to the D-pad! Dope looking controller... but damn, $150 wooo boy that would be too much for me. Too much only because I destroy most of my controllers with in 6 months, a lot cheaper to replace a $60 controller... oh and I'm cheap!
I think people are forgetting that fact, it's a PC you wear on your face that does AR... nothing else does that right now. I'm hoping they have a more consumer friendly priced version I can buy in a year or two... for stuff besides gaming, real life GPS! Virtual guided tours in real life, actual face time pshhhh... bring it on!
I'm gonna have to agree with the fellas above. MS is doing backward compatibility through software, like with Xbox 360, not through hardware. 1TB and an Elite controller makes the most sense.
And later there will be 8 but versions of the other characters, and then 16 bit versions, Alternate costume versions of the characters as well... the possibilities are endless. Thank god I'm not a collector, cause that 8-but Mario looks sweet, this could get expensive... Have you seen the Skylanders/Infinity isles, crazy!
In a way I'm a bit envious of fans who collect these things, but I'm also not cause that's a bunch of money that I don't have to spend....
It also as if the tiny fraction don't see any of the E3 Vita game coverage. It might also be safe to say that the majority, of the tiny fraction, see those headlines that read "No Vita love on Sony E3 stage" an assume there is nothing Vita at E3.

It seems if it, Vita, isn't shown on stage it doesn't count. Doesn't matter if they've got tons of demo stations on the show floor, at least that's what's been reported the last few years. If it's not on the stage then it wasn't at E3... what's up with that mentality?
I think there is good reason people think it's only streaming... have you seen the recommended specs for Occulus? Neither console comes close to those specs.
I think Hololens should be used for much more than gaming TBH... I think that's just a limited use for it. Having a virtual GUI in front of you would be amazing!

I don't really like these types of videos. Its 2 guys from the same company talking to each other, rather than just talking directly to US! It's like Kudo is in Major Nelsons office having a meeting. Major Nelson is asking him for status update and there just so happens to be a camera there recording.

It actually can't be "used" on xbox. I they said if you can stream what you're playing on Xbox through a PC then to the Rift. So to use a Rift on your Xbox you need to have: and Xbox One, Oculus Rift, and a PC to stream it to. You can't take the Rift and plug it into the Xbox, which is what i think a lot of people are gonna take a way from this... call me crazy, but most people won't get past the headline of most articles.

Not necessarily, I don't think any company is ever 100% right with everything they do, not even the mighty Valve. Sega misjudged the Saturn, Sony misjudged that PS3, MS misjudged the direction of the X1 (at the start), Valve misjudged that whole paying for mods thing by choosing to implementing it first on Skyrim.

I agree as well, it doesn't look spectacular like you said but I do think that it does look good. This game is going to be big, and it took a long time to make. This game was probably being built well before the PS4/X1 and it's probably a cross-gen game, which I'm okay with... I just wanted a new FallOut game.
I doubt it. If the game looked that good, you better believe they're gonna tell you it's in-engine right at the beginning. Even though the term in-engine means nothing theses days. I feel like this TR will be open world, currently the best looking open world game just released, the Witcher 3, and that game is beautiful and doesn't look as good as this trailer on PC. So probably just a CG thing.
Lack of funds to buy more than one console. Lack of free time so one is forced to choose one over the other. I honestly believe that if a PS4/Xbox1 Fanboy got a free console, the opposite of what they have, they would come to enjoy that console and the games on it.
You don't say... I've always been a PS gamer, mostly because of their 1st party offerings. The quality and sheer amount was amazing, in the past, but now I don't know what happened.
