My brother lives next door and his is up but mine is down. Weird. It keeps saying PlayStation network is undergoing maintenance. Hope it doesn't take long as I was planning a Battlefield 1 all nighter.
I'd like to introduce you to a little game series named Call of Duty. Every year they promise(and lie) dedicated servers, better mp, and more variety.Every year it's just as repetitive yet gets almost universal praise from media outlets. Who cares that some people like it a lot? Aliens Colonial Marines was a far worse offence yet it didn't receive nearly as much hate.
Looks awesome...I know a lot of people complained after the first week, but just the changes made for the second week helped a lot. I have complete faith this game will turn out awesome. I'm really excited that we get a proper campaign this time around as well. The multiplayer campaign for the first game was pretty meh.
I platinumed NMS and Frosty is wrong about the Atlas Pass. I have all 3 versions and attained all 3 the same way. First you need to be in a Korvax controlled system, then land on a planet and craft 4 or 5 bypass chips, next go to uplink beacons with the orange beam coming out of the top, when the choices pop up pick colonial outpost and keep doing it at the same beacon until you run out of bypass chips. Now, when you pick colonial outpost two things are discovered mining facilities and operat...
I don't disagree, but there are some legit people complaining as well. I've played NMS a lot(platinum trophy unlocked on Wednesday) and besides the broken promises the game still crashes to home screen even after the patch. Love the game but it is very rough around the edges.
I digitally downloaded the game, and it seems to crash most often when I attempt to warp. I love the game(got the platinum trophy two days ago), but for a game as chill as NMS it sure has made my blood boil more than expected because of the constant crashes. I legitimately have never bought a game that crashes back to the PS4 home screen like NMS does. I turned it on yesterday when I got home from work, and it crashed 3 times within the first 10 minutes. I was using no glitches or exploits. I...
I've played about 30-40 hours of NMS and it's crashed at least once or twice very hour. It does the "error has occurred in the application" message. I'm not saying it's the same for everyone, but in total I'd say mine has crashed at least 50-60 times. I realize it's probably not indicative of every players experience, but I don't find his comment to be disingenuous. I love the game, but these types of crashes are unacceptable; regardless of how fun the ga...
Indie devs are about the only studios trying new things. I'd much rather pay $60 for NMS than $60 for the 10th COD game. It's all a matter of opinion though. What's worth it to me may not be worth it you and vice versa. I just find that indie devs are the ones trying(not always succeeding) to push the medium forward. AAA titles are just sequel after sequel this generation.
While I don't think it's perfect I have to agree that it's my favorite indie game yet. It has it's fair share of frustrating problems, but what game doesn't? Funny thing is though, for a game that is so unbearably boring these sites have no problem writing article after article on NMS trying to generate clicks from fanboys. If it sucked as bad as a lot of people are claiming it does you'd think they'd want to move on to something else...
Of cou...
Have you actually played NMS? I've actually played both and can say that in my opinion NMS is way more fun than QB was. Was QB developed better? Yes,it was. Was its graphics way better?Yes, absolutely. Did QB have as many glaring issues? No, on the whole QB performed quite nicely....But....NMS is more fun actually playing. There's real gameplay in NMS as opposed to Quantum Breaks half baked 3rd person run of the mill generic shooting game. That's just my opinion though. At the end...
I absolutely love it as well. I'm already about 20 hours in. I only have one complaint, I get the "error has occurred in the application " message way to much. In my 20 hours it's crashed at least 25 times when I warp. I 've been over looking it since their such a small team, but hopefully it doesn't take them to awful long to patch it.
Same thing happened to me. Funny thing is the indestructible base looked like sand.
I think it has more to do with it being procedurally generated than the PS4s horsepower. The games artstyle is amazing but graphically I'd say it looks average. Pop in happens while you're walking as well, and you can kind of sense everything is being generated around you on the fly. I'm about 4 hours in and loving it. I'd say on an enjoyment scale it's right up there with Bloodborne and Uncharted. Actually, it may be even better. Wanna play more before I hail it as the be...
And yet Sony will still have released more exclusives in 2016 than any other console. MS gets away with holding onto all there exclusives til the end of the year and making it seem like they have a loaded library. I love Sonys approach, release 2 or 3 big exclusives at the start of a year til late Summer then let big guns like COD,BattleField, and TitanFall 2 keep gamers busy til February when the cycle starts all over again. I actually worry for The Last Guardian releasing between Battlefie...
In what way is the horror genre crowded? We get less true horror games now than in any past console cycle. If Resident Evil flourished on PS2, which really did have a huge horror library, I believe it'll do just fine.
They ban your computer. Even if you buy the game several times you'll still be banned. This is one instance where I really do believe the bans aren't for financial purposes, but rather its about keeping the game balanced and competitive.
Uncharteds shooting mechanics may not be as great as Gears of War, but the variety of the gameplay in Uncharted wins out in my opinion. All you're doing is stating the obvious when you say some people don't like Uncharted.....Well duh, there's people that don't like Gears of War to. Everyone has different opinions and tastes. That's why there are different genres. Gears of War is a dude bro action heavy game where as Uncharted is an story driven adventure game. Besides f...
It says an awful lot when Activision lacks so much faith in Infinite Warfare that they're forcing it on people who just want MW:R. That MP trailer for Infinite Warfare looked so bad it's not even worth a chuckle, but this looks so good. It really shows just how far COD has gone off the reservation.
