After waiting in a queue for 20 minutes I don't feel it was worth it. It just doesn't feel like a full price type of game to me. Seeing as this game releases around the same time as the OverWatch open beta something tells me this game is going to be slaughtered. I didn't have very high expectations going into this though so I can't say it disappointed me. It's exactly what I thought it'd be, nothing more nothing less.
Nowhere near as bad as TellTales engine.
Unless I'm mistaken this is Dark Souls 3 not 5. Yes Dark Souls is a spiritual successor to Demon Souls, but it's still it's own franchise.
A broken watch is still right twice a day.
You smokin crack? Alan Wake was a decent game, nothing more. Even if you liked it more than Uncharted how could ANY Remedy game compare to The Last of Us? Games made by better devs than Remedy can't compare to The Last of Us. I'm actually excited to play QB to, but not so excited that I overlook the fact that Remedy in no way shape or form compares to ND. ND hasn't made a game that scored below a 90+ on metacritic in over a decade. They've NEVER made a mediocre game.
I agree. I mean I always understood why people enjoyed it, but at the time it just wasn't for me. I guess my tastes changed. That or after playing Bloodborne Dark Souls isn't as confusing. I remember playing Dark Souls 1 and just being dumbfounded by pretty much everything. After playing Bloodborne though Dark Souls 2 feels similar enough that I was able to adapt fast. If Bloodborne taught me anything it's that I have to study the enemies as I fight them. I can't just mindless...
Sweet. I hated the Souls series until Bloodborne came out. After loving Bloodborne so much I decided to give the Souls series a second chance. I'm playing Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin right now and loving it. Its like a slower more deliberate version of Bloodborne. Guess I just needed to take the time to acclimate to it's difficulty and no hand holding formula.
Is there a glitch that allows more players to play together? I was at my friends house and saw him play the daily challenging mission with like 15 random players. They blew through it in 10 minutes max. This was on PS4 btw.
You know I may be in the minority here, but I like Uncharted more than TLOU. I thought TLOU was a brilliant game, loved the mp, story, characters everything. Easily earned its acclaim, but it was so sad and depressing that it actually got me down when playing it. That's a testament to just how skilled ND truly are. On the other hand Uncharted is so light and witty that it's impossible not to smile when playing it. I loved TLOU but Uncharted is just FUN.
I completely agree. He's modelled to be like Indiana Jones. Guess what guys? Indy killed people. One of Indiana Jones best moments is when Indiana Jones is tired and just pulls out his pistol and shoots the dude with the swords in the market. Almost every iconic action/adventure hero in movies/games has killed. Does it make him any less likeable is the real question, and millions (myself included) have answered no.
Target,Best Buy, and Gamestop are small fries compared to Amazon and Wal-Mart. I'd wager that most of the stock was allocated to those two retailers in the US. If Wal-Mart(the largest retail chain in the world) and Amazon(the largest online retailer in the world)are sold out then you best believe PSVR sold a LOT of units today.
I agree Qrphe. I've handed out just as many thrashings to PC players as they've handed to me. Kronovi, one of Rocket Leagues best players plays on PS4. It's all about Ariels and good defense. Master those 2 things and you should win a good chunk of the matches, regardless of what platform you play on.
Yeah, Sony and MS need to stop this trash business practice. Shame on Ubi for announcing this today as well. They waited until the day the game released to announce this deal after people had already purchased the season pass? That's shady as hell. I purchased the gold edition for PS4 knowing Xbox had some exclusive stuff, but I wasn't expecting it to be 30 day timed exclusive expansion packs. Because let's face it this isn't something as small as map packs. In an mmorpg conte...
Agreed. The players that are complaining about the game getting repetitive and having no multiplayer should go play Destiny. Multiplayer didn't stop that game with just 4 planets from getting extremely repetitive. Players these days are a fickle lot, there's either not enough content or there's too much. By the time players see planets and animals that look alike they'll have already got their $60 worth so I don't understand all the concern.
Kickass.to is a torrent site not a demo site. If you plan on stealing the game just come out and say it.
Oh god that was annoying....lol It kinda grew on me after a while though. I cried like a baby playin Life is Strange so I trust Dontnod completely.
They don't have to wait a year before they develop it. The 1 year exclusitivity simply means that the game cannot RELEASE on any other console for a year. Sony did the same thing with the Destiny DLC. Bungie didn't have to wait a year before they developed the content. They had had to wait to release it.
If someone would've told me that I'd be most excited for this the same year an Uncharted title releases I'd have thought them mad, but this game is simply so ambitious it's impossible not to get caught up in the hype. June 21 can't come soon enough.
No problem. They need to make it a little more obviously though. I only knew because it was set up the same way when I participated in the closed beta.
I agree completely. After I completed Bloodborne a sense of accomplishment washed over me, and it was a feeling I hadn't felt since the snes era of gaming. I went back to play the Souls series after that and gained a deep appreciation for what they are. If they had an easy mode that feeling of accomplishment is gone, so why even bother? People that call it to hard don't quite grasp why it's hard. It's hard because we're so use to games babysitting us and holding our hand ...
