The force is strong with this one indeed and it is my most anticipated game right now. However, I doubt it will be GOTY, but it may win some awards. I would not be a bit surprised if it ended up being my personal game of the year, though.

I for one am happy to see a Shadow of the Colossus influence here, as it was a hell of a game. Taking down the lumbering giants was about as epic as epic gets. It was so good, the entire game was based around it and that was all that it needed.

What is so great with Lords of Shadow is that similar battles are only ONE part of the game as a whole. There is much more to it than Colossus battles. It is going to be a 20 hour story with a dark and epic tale, high production value...

We are all just dying to play Kinectimals. Who needs games like Dragon Age II, Killzone 3 and Portal 2 when we can play with our pet baby tigers by waving our arms around like we have Tourette's Syndrome?

Seriously, what do they think, we are idiots? Maybe they think if they keep saying it enough that we will just suddenly decide that we want to buy it. Don't know about you, but I am about sick Microsoft telling me that I will love Kinect.

This is one of those off the radar gems I have got my eye on. It will probably be low budget, but it still just looks really cool.

It sure as hell is not why I own a 360. Don't get me wrong, I think Halo is OK, but I am incredibly burnt out on it. Reach looks great, but I am in no hurry to pick it up. I am not falling for the Halo marketing hype this time around... sorry.

The PS3 version is the lead platform and is the version being shown the most at all the events. Prepare to be proven flat-out wrong when the game releases. Have a nice day.

Well, I have seen enough to know I will enjoy it. I don't really care what it scores or how it is received. The fact of the matter is that Reality Pump have made HUGE improvements over the first one, which proves that they not only listen... but that they care as well. They deserve a lot of credit for that, in my opinion.

Underneath the fog of it being a 'GOW clone', it was still a really good game. It ran at 60FPS, it looked good on the visual and artistic front, and the gameplay was brutally fun. Yet, since it borrowed so heavily from GOW gameplay-wise it was deemed a horrible game.

I swear, I would hate to see what things would be like if the shooter genre had this stigma dominating it. Games like Halo and Call of Duty would be deemed horrible games just because they use the same me...

Not to mention that it is over a 20 hour game.

Please drop the GOW talk. GOW is a great series, but it did not invent the genre. This is looking to be a great game on it's own that draws from much more than just GOW, and hopefully it will mark a grand rebirth for the Castlevania series. Just enjoy them both or the one that appeals to you, as there is plenty of room... just have a look at the shooter genre for an example.

I am aware of this, but I still see worse games get sequels and end up being successful. I guess I am just not one who believes in giving up after the first try... especially if you believe in your product.

I understand that they just want to make a profit, but I still firmly believe that Heavenly Sword more than deserves a sequel. I guess we will just have to leave that one up to Sony.

At times I think it looks great, but then again it kind of looks like an average mish-mash of various genres. I still think that they should have done Heavenly Sword 2, myself. Despite how short it was, the first game had tremendous potential and deserved a chance to grow.

Think about it for a second. Look at all of the bad games that go on to get sequels and end up being great... like Killzone 2. Guerrilla did not just give up and abandon what they knew could be great. Inst...

Even earlier than I thought. I was so worried that there would be a delay.

That is simply pathetic.

Where in the Sam Hell did this game come from? I love the look of it, especially the environments. On my radar for sure.

I used to be a member of their movie by mail plan and never had any problems. Now that I can get games as well, I may have to go back.

If Ascaron can put Sacred 2 on consoles and make it work beautifully, then Blizzard sure as hell can give PS3 and 360 owners Diablo III. I am not expecting it, but it would be nice.

A million times this. It is time, Bethesda.

I don't give a damn how many copies it sells. I know I will enjoy this more than I did RDR just because of the subject matter alone. RDR, while still fun, was the biggest disappointment of the year for me.

Just have a look at what From Software did with Demon's Souls and go from there. That is called 'getting it' folks, and the success of that game is testament to that. Turned based combat with spiky hair feminine teenage boys wielding over sized swords and dressing like something from a future version of the Village People is quite archaic and not very becoming of the genre these days. As long as Japanese devs stick to that formula, the further JRPG's will decline and remain in...
