Nah I actually agree with MK on this one. This shouldn't be classified as a game. It's a cool concept and will no doubt draw in a new audience to video games but wow.
Why am I not surprised
While I think a price drop will help the 360 against the PS3, saying it will bury the PS3 is a little extreme don't you think? Sony can just as easily drop the price of the PS3 if it really gets that bad.
This better not be true. I was actually looking forward to buying this game but if they pull a stunt like this... I don't think i'll buy it.
It's possible but it would almost certainly need a price cut to do so. I'm getting a 360 for Lost Odyssey and possibly Alan Wake(Hope it's a great game). They have some pretty solid titles coming out in 08. It's certain that the momentum is riding more with the PS3 than the 360.

I hope they smooth these issues out because I really want to buy this game. I've been waiting for it for quite some time and would be sorely disappointed if the game came out buggy.
I like Rockstar alot and respect them deeply(Most parents don't monitor what their children do) but I hope they don't do this. GTA4 will either get edited or won't sell as well due to the stigma that would be attached.
Rockstar doesn't have the balls to do this. It also wouldn't be worth the headache they are going to get.

The problem with DD is the bandwidth. You know how long it'll take to download an HD movie now? I highly doubt that anyone is arguing that it's not the future(because it is when speeds improve) but not now. The majority of people won't wait 6-7 days(maybe longer) to download a movie.
Hell. Tne critics bashed Equilibrium and that movie was pure greatness.
When looking at the budget for MGS4 I can't help but think about Halo 3 and see the results from spending all that money on a title. Seems like a smart idea to me.
Yeah I hear you. I tried getting into Oblivion but it just didn't interest me. It's a great game but it's not for my tastes though. Since I grew up in the golden era of RPG's(90's) the westernized ones just don't match up for me(though they are extremely diverse and creative).
I'm so getting this when it comes out..
There is absolutely no benefit to MS cutting off the 360. It's install base will keep growing and cutting it off will piss off the people that it fought hard to get, thus making them less likely to buy the new xbox(whenever it comes out). This is plain stupidity.
This is the retailers. They are trying to make some money off of the players before they have to dispose of them.
I would rather much my surgeon practice on live cadavers than a video game. Just my opinion though.
