How many times has it been said the Wii will fade? I've lost count already. As much as I wanted the Wii to not have the level of success it has, I no longer believe it will fade. I think the PS3 will lead 2008 and will see a significant raise in software sales. I also think it'll do better here in the US but I think the 360 will probably move more units if the price of the PS3 stays the same and they drop the price of the 360. Worldwide I think Sony will build upon their momentum from the end of 2007 and widen the lead in sales.
I stopped being a fan of gaming back in '95 but to say that console gaming is killing PC gaming is naive. There are some PC gamers who won't just migrate solely to consoles. Truthfully I don't think PC gaming will every die.
So you're hating on MS because they came out with an OS when there were no other good alternatives? XP is a great OS and many people are extremely happy with it. I'm guessing you favor Mac OS which is fine but don't hate on MS because they had a smart business model(even if it was a borderline monopoly).

Agreed. That's why I had to laugh when I saw this. It's like everyone forgot that Google bought Doubleclick. I remember reading the article in my NY Times. They have the largest share of Ad revenue and without a merger of some sort, Yahoo would have continued to dwindle behind Google. Competition is always good, even if it's between two Big Corporations.
