I think he's just mimicking what some people on this site actually say lol (or at least I hope so). I think that explains his user name anyway
Dragon Age 2 is evidently going to be a riot
I loved the Shadow Broker DLC. Most enjoyable DLC scenario in my opinion...
Miranda annoyed me slightly as a character until I did her loyalty mission. Then I thought he was pretty awesome.
Sony is definitely banning people. I had a friend on PSN who openly expressed his console was hacked (what a fool). Next thing I know, he's been banned - no warning, just booted from PSN entirely
Hooray. Was starting to think they'd forgotten about a western release
I heard that Yakuza spin off game set in Edo Japan is pretty good? Kenzan is it? Maybe one day Sega will localise it. I agree with you though, I would love a really good samurai game with good production values. Re live the old samurai movies
This is one huge flaw in scoring games. The site calls Killzone 3 a better game than Killzone 2, yet gives it a lesser overall score. The amount of times I've seen this happen in reviews is beyond a joke - and it's happened to a lot of sequels, especially this gen.
Square Enix talk a lot about establishing a strong global market, and have even tried to 'westernise' their games. Yet looking at this, the majority of their titles are releasing on PSP - a console that does extremely well in Japan, and is flagging in the west.
Just seems contradictory in a way.
Every time I try to talk to Garrus and he says that... I die a little inside
Agree with your point about the characters. As much as I loved KZ2, Sev and Rico are terrible and generic characters. I'd love to play as Helghast instead of the boring ISA for just one campaign. Saying that, you could point out almost all the main characters in any FPS are garbage.
Playing as a well developed character enriches any gaming experience, and helps you relate to the situation and the emotions they feel throughout the story
So will other PAL regions get these collectors editions too? I'm guessing so anyway. Day one etc
You make some good points. I have to agree, sites tend to have stupidly high expectations of PS3 exclusive games so when it comes to the review, they mark it down on on virtually everything with no good reason.
... I still don't understand why they do this though, in relation to why they can't just praise a good game.
I've never had a scene go out of sync but there have been times when dialogue will cut out or characters faces will stop moving while talking. Same problem I suppose, just on a lesser scale. Can be annoying but with a game as good as ME2 I can't bring myself to judge it
Agreed, it's refreshing that sites can talk openly about their opinions like this
I'm not sure if Pushsquare get review copies from publishers, as far as I'm aware it's more of a blog based news network rather than a full gaming site. They do write some good articles though and update regularly... But you're right, after all the reviews it seems a bit late
Thanks for that. Giving us a taste of the game should put any qualms people have with the new gameplay mechanics to rest, hopefully
I can't think of a year where I have bought more games than I'll be buying this year. ME3, UC3 and TES V at the end of the year? Seems too good to be true. Seriously have no idea what the general consensus on GOTY will be this year
On the basis that 'normal' will provide a good enough challenge, should be something to suit everyone here, I'm hoping
Makes me sick seeing what Crash became. He had so much personality and character despite never having dialogue. Nostalgia'd hard
