That'll be 10 more PS3 owners and they'd have got an unbeatable deal. This game is big enough to sell PS3's anyway, these bundles are far more potent than the DLC. Sony have put together a great counter to the DLC, they have a GTA4 bundle that'll draw people away from the 360 and completely eclipse the DLC decision for those not in the know.
The PS3 is region free so PAL or NTSC, it doesn't matter.
But I agree with the shipping wallet rape, importing Rock Band will cost a ton in postage...

Also, the hardware revision in 07 hasn't stopped the RROD from occuring.
While I know you basically said that for effect, I don't think Ps3 users are in the minority.
Consider the fact that almost every 360 user has had more than one 360, some buy a new one when the old one fails (this adds to the overall sales). Two 360's for one person. I wonder how many sales this accounts for. If it's 2 360's for 1 person then sales are much MUCH lower than everyone thinks. The gap definately isn't as big as people make out.

I agree with you on the SD -> HD switch. Gaming is sooo much better in HD, there's always the initial moments when you notice all the extra details on everything, then over time you get used to HD and if you go back to gaming on an SD set it's kinda disappointing to say the least lol I was without a HDTV till just before Christmas time and I've had my PS3 since June last year s...
I know they say it'll only affect access to the old store but if there are any problems I wouldn't be at all surprised if they cut the whole Network access off to fix things.
Shouldn't be any problems but you never know with the net. Better to be safe than sorry whenever updates are involved.

Just rented that out and been playing through it on the harder difficulty and man that game is good! It's long too, surprising long, didn't expect that from games these days.

Removing PSN access makes complete sense to me (rather odd it's gone over other's heads), the PSstore is basically a browser linked into PSN, so since they're getting rid of the 'browser store' and replacing it with an 'integrated store' they will need to alter parts of the PSN infrastructure to integrate the new store. Otherwise it'd be another store that works the same as the old one.

Burnout Paradise got PS3 advertising, I saw no exclusive 360 ads for that. Just the Playstation logo at the end, then 'also available on Xbox 360'. I didn't see any Assassin's Creed ads for either 360 or PS3.
Don't know where they're getting all this from but I highly doubt the ads will counteract the PS3 bundles we'll be seeing in the shops soon. You can miss ads but not shop displays :D
That's been my point for a while now. Everyone says the 360 is selling better, but if one person can buy as many as 9 lol then the actual number of people that own them are far FAR less than the figures say.
What's it at now? About 15mil for the 360 and 10-11mil for the PS3? Something like that anyway...
Divide that 15 by the average number of 360's each owner gets through and you'll get the real number of people that own a working 360, if it's at least 2 360's p...
I got my 60Gb cheap in June of last year (2 months after European release). Was £600 I got mine for £280 brand new with 3 games :D
This news is good, it certainly doesn't make me regret buying a 60gig early, in fact it makes me wonder what's next for the PS3? It's just always getting better and better!

I only own a PS3 so I often hold back on a lot of stuff like this, I've not got a 360 so can't compare anything in a fair manner. This review is not of the final build so in my eyes means very little.
As much as I'd like to back the PS3 version, first things first, it hasn't got confirmed DLC although it was suggested in early 2007 (before MS's $50 million deal).

well I meant map really, since Killhouse gameplay wasn't shown but they had the 360 version of Chinatown up.
Maybe it was just that particular game that was laggy, definite possiblity, but everything just looks kind of fuzzy for some reason apart from the gun. Hadn't seen the COD4 360 version before seeing the vid so maybe it's just me being used to the PS3 version.

Exam time for me the following 2 weeks from the point GTA4 is released so I'll have to wait 2 weeks before I can play it if I want to do well. GTA does sap time away and that's not good for studying.
Then again after the 2 weeks of exams I have almost 5 months of nothing so GTA4 and MGS4 here I come :D
I don't think he has an issue with it bashing the 360 version, just that the article isn't based on the full game and can't be taken seriously at all so shouldn't have been approved.

Shopto have stopped taking preorders for the PS3 version due to reaching the limit of the expected stock.
The game should be available in a few obscure places you'll just have to go hunting on release day, but seriously if you wanted it on release day for definite you should have preordered it a while ago, like last year sometime! Remember GTA:SA, that was one crazy weekend...
