Yep I remember the problems of the intial PS2 design. It had about a 12 month lifespan and broke shortly after the warranty ended lol.
But I had a slim PS2 as soon as it came out and still have it in working order. Well, the Ps2 itself works but it has a dodgy power connection due to the extreme 'over'use of it :P

If you were here late last year this place was riddled with 360 fanboys. The PS3 crowd has started piping up and fighting back and people don't like it. As for the account security warnings you're speaking of, you can turn those off.
I have a quad too, the Q6600. Haven't had any problems.
To run Vista properly (With the Aero interface) you need at least 2GB RAM to keep it running smoothly. Vista was built to take advantage of multicore systems so running it on a single core is asking for trouble in a way. Stick with XP if you have a single core, or a dual that isn't fast enough and use the Vista upgrade advisor before even considering upgrading.

I got Vista with my PC but could have got it £60 due to the student thing MS have.
Didn't really need the things in the Ultimate version and you don't get the Aero interface in Basic, so Premium is perfect for anyone looking to upgrade.
Although I do advise that people stick with XP and just get Vista with a new PC...
I was very much against getting Vista until I got a new PC (Which I did) and I haven't had any problems with it. It's easier to get around and find things.
I'm not into WWII games anymore, they've been overdone and as much as the history behind WWI and II is vitally important, I don't think we need onslaughts of games on the subject...

That just replaces the left stick, which is exactly NOT what the Sixaxis is all about. Pointless 360 addition tbh, that's far worse than both the PS3 and Wii's motion capabilities.
Also, to those earlier, using the Sixaxis motion control in Warhawk is much better imo than just using the sticks. Flying the warhawk is far less rigid than using the sticks, but you have to learn how to do it and not many people have the patience, which is rather sad really...
