"Sunday's"? Someone didn't pay attention in elementary school.
I was all over this the second it was released a few days ago.
The only thing that really kills it on the PSP2 is the near complete lack of sufficient shadowing. Besides that...nice lighting, decent textures, I'm sure the animation and sound is good enough...
Yeah, dolphin diving is confirmed to be eliminated by the use of get-up and go-prone animations that slow you down purposely.
Yeah, weather in general is really needed if DICE wants to really go full-bore on the realism.
It makes sense...there's already basic bullet drop in the Frostbite engine, making it gun-dependent should be really easy for them to do...probably just a few extra lines of code, honestly.
Now all we need for complete realism in BF is the addition of wind, which would actually be quite difficult to code, I imagine. Can you picture that? That would be so cool. Standing in the forest on a map and hearing the wind blow through the trees...all of a sudden a 50-cal sniper bul...
Killzone 2 was lambasted left and right for not controlling enough like Call of Duty, and now people are proclaiming that Killzone 3 is too much like Call of Duty? How ridiculous is this?!
Pure BS
"an exponential leap in destructibility"
This alone is what intrigues me.
As long as it doesn't overtake other aspects of my life, there is no way a woman would ever be allowed to talk to me like that and still call herself my girlfriend.
To all of you talking about the fingerprint reading on the screen...that's not possible.
You MUST have a fingerprint reader to read fingerprints.
The "fingerprint" in the video up there was just a gameplay gimmick. It was being brushed over with your finger to uncover it, like detectives do with powder that collects on fingerprint oils.
Yeah right.
I understand a small technical leap, but TRIPLE the polygons, with increase in graphical appeal yet no loss of performance AND the introduction of 3D into the engine?! Holy crap!
It's those things that Porygon is made of
You couldn't be more wrong
Whoops, lol I must be dyslexic this morning =P
OK, we get it. A lot of people play Call of Duty, a lot of the time.
Moving on...
Cool so 6 earths down, how many more to go?
Oh well.
I will go for quality over quantity any day, on any platform.
The only thing Call of Duty has yet to be beat in is sales numbers. It's already been surpassed in quality by Bad Company 2.
All that needs to happen is better marketing. EA needs to STEP IT UP with Battlefield 3. The past Battlefield games have a HUGE following, which has been waiting for a true sequel to Battlefield 2.
