Because it is? Because DX9 is old as dirt?
No, PLEASE LEAVE TAKE 2 ALONE...last thing we need is Activision driving another developer and franchise into the ground.
Looks very underwhelming in DX9 (which is what this is), but I'm sure DX 10 & 11 will add plenty that improves the visual quality.
Well I am more fluid and precise with KB/M, so I guess it is easier for me. I tend to panic with controllers when trying to be very precise. I started off gaming on computers as a child so I guess I have a predilection (or bias, as some would say) towards the use of good ol' KB/M
easier control = mouse and keyboard (at least in my opinion that's what it meant when I wrote it)
Let me guess, without even reading (someone tell me how close I am)
- Higher frame rate
- Better effects
- Better textures
- Better draw distance
- easier control
- better anti aliasing
- better motion blur
- higher resolution
- better animation
- better physics
lol...chak_....Diablo IS an isometric, 3rd-person action-rpg.
I'm pretty sure spells and such could be mapped to face buttons, while right and left triggers could be mapped to the left and right hands of your character. the top two shoulder buttons could then be mapped to switching weapon sets.
The right stick could act as a context-senstive target selector used to select anything on the screen ranging from dropped items to NPCs to monsters to interactive...
lol there goes vulcanproject directly comparing consoles with little to no OS overhead with PCs that have full OS overhead and barely any optimized code.
Consoles are strictly designed for throughput and performance.
Directly comparing GPU to GPU from console to PC is extremely naive when wanting to determine whether a game will be "gimped" or not.
I'm pretty confident that Naughty Dog and Guerrilla Games would love to have a n...
Hey someone should do an HD preview of this Game Informer preview
/s
This just in: FOX joins ad campaign for new Bulletstorm game
How is this a preview in any way? You freaking glossed over magazine scans and summarized printed material.
This is not a preview, this is a summary of a Game Informer cover story. Nice try.

How are your RAM sticks configured, and what sizes are they each?
How many processes do you have running?
How much memory does your GTX260 have? Is it GDDR3 or GDDR5? What's the memory bus width? 128-bit? 256? 512?
Do you have the latest drivers for all the devices in your computer?
When was the last time you defragged?
Is your registry clean?
Also, like Dino said...is your vid card overc...
Metro 2033 supports the use of MSAA, rendering your argument null and void.
I have owned an iPod touch 2nd gen, then replaced that with a 3rd gen, then again with the 4th gen, and Angry Birds has stayed with me the entire way. I don't care what people say, gaming on the iPhone / iPod touch / iPad / Android is here to stay, and it's only going to grow.
Yes, there's tons and tons and tons of shovelware and CRAP, but just like the PS2, for every hundred games there's maybe 5 or 10 that are worth checking out.
And for tho...
I have tasted Metro 2033 in all its glory, and honestly it put Crysis to shame as far as atmosphere goes. Adventure and action...Crysis still wins.
Graphically, I'd say they're about equal. Although I dare say the engine Metro uses is a bit more advanced on the technical level.
YES!
Very underwhelming trailer, indeed.
lol this will never fly in a court of law, or anywhere else for that matter
Does the newer engine allow shadows on things besides animals, creatures and people? If not...Imma be pissed. This is 2011, for crying out loud!

You're actually technically wrong. Completely wrong.
