Great list, very diverse! Need to find a place to squeeze Child of Light in there though : )
Personally I use my Xbox One quite a bit more than my PS4, but I am happy that I own both.
Nevermind, those digital sales are based on mobile apps it appears.
Titanfall, BF4 and FIFA absolutely dominated. Those digital sales are crazy. Wish they had broken down the Digital Sales by platform, very curious to see the ratios between PC, X1 and PS4 for digital sales. PC is pretty much digital only by now so I am guessing they account for a large portion of them, but have to wonder just how much.
Good for EA, now spend that money on fixing Battlefield :D
Although nothing they have shown has blown me away, everything they have shown looks really good. I am definitely buying it, every gamer I know at this point is planning on buying it. I think it will do pretty well overall. Will it sell 15 million copies? I think it will, especially since it will be one of a very few amount of big titles coming out on X360 and PS3 this holiday.
I would say it is destined to do really well.
This game is free on Windows 8 though haha. Also not very good, sadly. Wait for Super Time Force to hit next week!!
Great review, can't wait to download this.
So beautiful! Six months later and I still am in awe every time I turn it on.
Wasn't that the reason they used a third party benchmark to show the differences during the announcement? There is no secret CPU bound tasks are limited to one core with DX11, so I think the benefits in this case are pretty apparent and I think the benchmarks they provided show those benefits rather well. Nothing they showed was a mystery, they laid out the differences in a very detailed and logical way.
Haha.. I was thinking about taking time off work, but then I thought I will just watch it at work :D.
Both are promising new IP's so that is what I am most excited about. Can't wait to see what they are!
This is really the first major re-write of DX since DX9, which is why DX11.x is still acting like multicore cpu's do not exist, because back then they really didn't outside of servers. As code moves to working parallel across all platforms utilizing multiple cores becomes the highest priority and the reason that DX12 is so important.
The days of the standalone GPU are ending, the era of parallel computing is upon us. DX12 is not only necessary but the most important s...
Neither one of them said JRPG. Misleading headlines for the win :D. But I do hope we get more JRPG's!
Wasn't last e3 all about games too? They had a separate announcement with the TV stuff, it wasn't at e3. Ground Zeroes, Ryse and Titanfall were all three awesome at the ms conference last year. Plus the Halo tease was cool too.
I am excited for MLB The Show, Puig is going to destroy all!
Good enough! Not a perfect implementation but it will get the job done. Be nice if they could add voice commands, maybe they will. Xbox Mute "App/Game Name" would be awesome.
When I hear the words "Video Game" the Pacman intro theme plays in my head :D
Can't wait to see the reveal on Thursday. I hope it is as fun as it looks.
So this is the quote gaming sites are twisting "But Gates said he didn’t foresee either Bing, the company’s search engine division, or Xbox, its gaming division, as potential stand-alone companies because they are part of Microsoft’s long-term strategy."
Oh news sites.
Microsoft did release their q1 earnings on April 25, was around 5.2 billion in profit and 12.2 billion in revenue. Something like that.
Every public company has to release their earning or losses.
