I loved the combat personally, especially the blocking mechanism which had so much impact. In fact the combat to me was probably the best I have experienced in a sword based game. Especially on Legendary difficulty. As for the enemies the main enemies were comprised of three different bad guys, but then again the main enemies in Second Son were of two different guys.
Pretty neat to see the conception of how maps are designed from a design aspect. Be cool if they did an entire series on making the game. Even if it was just a small in house Channel9 series.
Really looking forward to playing it too.
Polygon ripped it pretty bad too. Not that bad, but pretty bad. Shame, I was looking for an RPG to get into.
Sounds like a great scenario for the Nuclear weapon :D
I kind of want an Avengers RPG and I kind of want Bioware to make it "KOTOR style".
That is a great write-up! So pumped to play this, please come out soon!!
Gears of War was also owned by Epic until just a couple of months ago. I think it is pretty normal for Microsoft to work that way when it comes to Third Party studios.
Pretty interesting that you can play this game in snap mode, while also playing another game. Might be fun for Titanfall lobby!
Glad MS is letting these studios have so much artistic freedom. The game looks amazing.
I tried to play that when I was in England... I didn't really get it though :D.
Why would I lose bubbles for wanting Nintendo games on other consoles? Seems like something all users would want for the most part. And I can't see how that would offend anyone.
Or go Third Party and make everyone love you : )
I liked Nuts and Bolts, although it definitely wasn't what I was expecting from a Banjo game. I am hopeful there will be a new amazing Banjo platformer soon that will remind us of his charm :D
Lol, love the twitter account. As for Fizzie being a mascot.. I am not sure. Banjo, Cortana would probably be my top two picks.
In other news, DX12 doesn't make your coffee each morning.
Awesome boxart! But I am still buying it digitally :D
No, they did not. The writer did, not the developer. The developer didn't say that at all. He said we would see developers do interesting things with it.
Technically it does use Kinect. Xbox Record That, Xbox Broadcast, Xbox Go To Sunset Overdrive, Xbox Volume Up, Xbox Start Party etc.
The atmosphere, story and "frame rate" will haunt your dreams :D.
I even liked the QTE's haha. Getting legendary executions was such a challenge. So much rhythm to all aspects of the combat including the QTE's.
