Ummm yeah, the whole talk was about them porting it to PC dx12 lol, so they could benchmark the differences.
I don't think they are taking over, just a new popular genre. I love them but I still like my gameplay games too.

Pretty mandatory for electronics to have Camera and Mic these days so applications can use them. Phones, Laptops, Tablets etc all have them.

I don't care about length, as long as they tell the story well. The issue with Ground Zeroes isn't the length or the gameplay, but that it didn't really start or finish a story haha. I still loved it though!
But how many features on X1 can be used with Kinect VS PS4 camera? Quite a bit from what I can tell. If you want the camera best for it to be included so more features will support it. If you don't want it, tough beans :D

Wish they would open up the SDK's for X1 already. I have so many great ideas around Kinect I would love to try out.
Can't wait to get my hands on it. I am making a game using Unity be interesting to see how much better it runs on the new engine. Although it isn't very demanding to begin with haha.
That was the reason it was made : ). However, DirectX 12 is expected to implement all those features.
Yes, it will make the interfaces for graphics and computing code much more efficient. The benchmarks showed half the resources for the same code using DirectX12. That is huge.
