This is actually huge!! Can finally see my friends face as I beat him in Killer Instinct :D
""IF"" Kinect fails, I think that will be pretty obvious it is Microsoft's fault. However, I don't think it will fail. I use mine daily, it is awesome. It could use some improvements but overall it is a great product that offers a ton of value to the Xbox One system.
I play a lot of games, both on consoles and mobile. The pay to win model is definitely real "on mobile/PC anyhow" but you don't have to participate. For example, Hearthstone and Jetpack Joyride are two of my favorite tablet games and both are sort of pay to win. However, you don't have to play them that way. You can take the more difficult path and try to win without paying and to be honest it feels more rewarding that way.
I think the only way these games ...
Augmented Reality is much more accessible than Virtual Reality, but they are so very different. You could do augmented reality inside of virtual reality, but not vice versa.
I do think Augmented Reality will be more popular in the long term though. Especially if ideas like the Illumiroom make it so you don't have to wear anything.
The biggest hurdle for Virtual Reality is the idea of wearing helmet and also the fact that it is a little unsettling. I don...
Great interview! Capy is becoming my favorite studio.
Yeah, all his dislikes seemed pretty inconsequential in the big picture, plus it sounded like he loved it. A 7.8 is still a very good score though, means they recommend it.
Yeah, to me the story sounds like the most appealing part. I guess some people just like action, which is fine too. I am picking this up for sure!
Wow, Polygon is usually really tough too. Sounds like a classic, definitely down for an immersive FPS with a compelling story.
Funniest and funnest game ever!
Maybe an Atari Steam Machine would be fun, for nostalgic reasons.. probably better off with hardware from Razor or Alienware.
I know that I want it : )
Sounds very interesting! Think I might back this one, join me!
I tend to not like multiplayer shooters but even I have enjoyed it much more than I anticipated. The vertical layers of the levels mixed with the wall running/double jumping really makes things fun. Also really like the Burn Cards, great way to keep every match different. I have had a lot of fun with it so far.
Ha, I had forgotten about Brute Force. Terrible game. Personally I would love to see Kameo make a comeback, I thought that game was so much fun, great character too.
Mech Assault and Crimson Skies were two other games I really enjoyed from their past library.
Technically Kinect Sports Rivals missed its deadline. It was supposed to be a launch title and by missing that window it put the Xbox One is a rather bad position regarding Kinect. Also although Tennis is phenomenal, Soccer is pretty broken.
Microsoft spent millions making a game that ended up getting rather poor reviews. I enjoy it, but the overall reaction wasn't very good. If you fail to deliver, many times you will lose your job. That is life.
I agree, except for Kinect Sports Rivals Tennis... So obsessed with that game right now. Not the whole game, just the tennis part haha. Also love the animation building for Project Spark, that is amazing.
I am confused... Everyone told me all the people who worked on the old Rare games left years ago? I guess that wasn't the case.
I have the original Titan which is awesome for Blender "reason I got it" but wish I would have waited for this one. It renders complex scenes so much faster than using the CPU, but it is still not fast enough haha. Rendering takes soooo long..
Yeah, plus turning it off means no headphones which is a deal breaker. Just let us turn the flipping light off Sony.. Is it really this hard.
That is fine, they are paying the bills for us hardcore gamers to play these gems for free!
